I finally met the BC fireman who owns the little cabin a couple of doors down. I haven’t seen the across-the-street neighbours yet, but I suspect they’ll be down; if not today, then over the 4th of July weekend.

Me? I’m working today. But I’ll be long off the clock when the Canadians set off their fireworks. And since we’re moving office, I’m not going to Seattle until Thursday; so I can observe the celebration.

Sorry…was offline for the big day! But it’s weird…after working for a major Canadian corporation for the past five years, I’m now in an American company. I had to go find some Canadians to go to the bar with instead.
