Have you tried these new Soft Top Cookies?

I bought some new cookies this week. The brand happened to be from the Kroger Bakery.

They are called soft topped. Mine were chocolate chip. I’d swear there’s some banana in there too. Tasted like banana bread.

These are some funky cookies. They are very thick, at least 3/8 inch. The texture is more like a muffin than a cookie.

This is different from Soft Baked. Which too me is nothing but a half raw cookie.

You tried these soft topped cookies before?

I like them, but they really don’t satisfy my cookie craving. I want that crunchy goodness hen I crave cookies .

I’m the only one that bought these new style cookies? You guys are missing out on something delicious.

They’re the really soft cookies with a ton of icing on them, right?

They’re not unique to Kroger, I’ve seen them in Publix and in convenience stores. They’re pretty tasty but sometimes they have kind of a weird aftertaste almost like you would find in an artificial sweetener, and it’s kind of a put-off to me.

Oh, and they’ve been around for a very long time. At least 8 years or more at Publix.
