He Hate Me FF Keeper League - Year 14

There’s a little ambiguity in our PM, but the most reasonable interpretation is that we do 4ths and 8ths which benefits Varlos and I’m cool with it. Execute that trade if you’re okay with it.

Alright, entered. We can discuss this sort of thing later for future rulings.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhh yeah. Ohhhhh.

One of you guys who’s good at stuff and things should write up some draft reviews like we usually do. I’m a little spent on thinking about fantasy with all my various drafts this week and all the commish wrangling stuff.

Glad your draft had a happy ending.

Damn! Got stuck late at work and it autodrafted. Well, this wasn’t the first time. I’ll do my best with what I’ve got

Not an awful team for an autodraft. The two kickers and both the Denver and Buffalo D’s are a bit overkill, but…

Yeah, as soon as I can deal with them, it will be fixed

OK, next questions…how is the IR slot going to work? Is it basically just an extra bench slot? Does it require the player be on IR in reality? Any time requirements a la the NFL as far as bringing the player back from the IR slot?

The player has to be officially on IR in the NFL. and I think it’s not the half-season IR they just developed but full season loss IR. Basically it lets you keep one of your guys if you lose him to season ending injury without having to waste a slot all year. It’s a relief for teams that get stuck with bad injury luck.

… so you won’t be able to stuff Martavis Bryant in it?

No, I have to pay the penalty of eating that roster spot all year.

So my first season in this league is off to an inauspicious start… my keepers were Rivers, Ertz, and Jordan Matthews. The eagles decide to trade Bradford and start their rookie QB the day after I declare keepers. Then Rivers loses his top target in week 1, and Ertz looks like he’s going to miss multiple weeks. I’d say my outlook for this season is looking pretty grim, but I guess I’ll try to make the most of it. Here’s hoping the Derrick Henry train pulls in to the station pretty soon…

Bah I hate leaving points on the bench…especially that many. Baldwin was the one I was worried about too, with Wilson’s mobility being in question. I should’ve started Corey Coleman.

(I make it a policy not to start a rookie until he’s shown me something, though. Consider it shown.)

Well I’ve got a narrow chance to avoid a 0-2 start. Overly Sentimental needs 9 points out of Jordan Mathews to beat me. Nothing else close going into MNF.

I’m willing to move Duke Johnson, Jay Ajayi, or John Brown for a very good TE.

So much for starting Coleman. It would’ve been nice to get at least one start out of him. Back to praying Baldwin gets a TD…

Decker? Decker?

<crickets>

Well a last minute score ended up putting me in reach - Terelle Pryor scored a 2 point conversion giving me 2 points but also taking a few points away from RNATB’s Jets D. I’m going to need Hunter Henry to have one of his TD days but that’s not terribly likely against Denver. I can’t believe I may lose to a guy who scores 72, but everyone has a really low score so far this week.

Edit: Of couse. Antonio Gates just snagged a TD.

I need 2.15 points out of Hunter Henry and I may not get it.
