… I am confused. Who got what in the trade? You can’t be trading seven guys because that means someone is getting four, and you can only keep three.
No trade - he’s just changing the name of the team.
Oh, duh. Since I’m keeping Dalton in the 11th, I have no need for a high pick in that round. If anyone drafting at the tail end of the odd rounds wants to swap my 11th rounder (#2 in the round) and 12th rounder for theirs, I’m game.
Yeah, that’s the idea, I should have clarified. The first 5 would qualify on record (as normal), and then the sixth team would be the highest scoring team of the remaining 9.
I’m keeping:
*8. (107) Jordan Matthews (Phi - WR) sixth round
9. (118) Philip Rivers (SD - QB) seventh round
12. (163) Zach Ertz (Phi - TE) tenth round
I forgot today was final keeper day, I forgot to announce it earlier, so I’ll give you guys 24 hours to submit any late keeper changes if necesary.
- (66) Allen Robinson (Jax - WR) => keep in Rd 3
- (159) Derek Carr (Oak - QB) => keep in Rd 10
- (206) Kevin White (Chi - WR) => keep in Rd 13
I’m keeping:
WR Sammy Watkins in the 3rd
RB Devonta Freeman in the 5th
QB Blake Bortles in the 10th
THE FOLLOWING KEEPERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR TRADE:
WR Sammy Watkins (ADP 29.2) in the 3rd (picks 29-42)
RB Doug Martin (ADP 24.2) in the 2nd (picks 15-28)
WR Tyler Lockett (ADP 86.5) in the 9th (picks 113-126)
QB Blake Bortles (ADP 77.4) in the 10th (127-140).
Yes, that means I’m willing to consider trading the players I’m currently keeping, since I have backups; they’ll just cost a bit more. I’m even willing to listen if you want to keep Freeman in the 5th, but it won’t be cheap. All of these players are being kept for the first time this year.
I plugged my keeper into Yahoo, but it’s Michael Floyd.
I will swap picks with you in the 9th and 11th rounds for Doug Martin’s keeper rights. You only move up one spot per round, but Martin’s worth nothing to you anyway.
List of this year’s keepers. A double asterisk indicates the player is being kept for the second time and will not be an eligible keeper next year. Please correct any mistakes. Check the actual yahoo draft too.

Noticed an error in the OP. Draft is Monday, tomorrow, not Tuesday. Date is correct.
Could someone send out a mass PM to everyone to remind them that the draft is tonight at 8:30 eastern? I won’t be on my pc until near draft time.
Done, except for Weirddave…he’s not receiving PM’s. I’ll email him through the league site.
ETA: Eh, I’ll email everyone for the sake of redundancy.
Is it too late for varlos to accept my offer for Doug Martin’s rights?
Sent from my LG-H830 using Tapatalk
Ah, sorry, I accepted a better trade offer for him via PM; I’d swap picks with Omni in the 2nd and 8th Rounds, moving up 4 spots in each.
ETA: Hopefully that’s not too late…
I assume we’re going to hear about trades before the fact during the regular season?
On one hand its pointless to have deadlines if they are never enforced, but on th other hand I always try to accommodate people if it doesn’t hurt anyone.
But this isn’t a valid trade. Last year we ruled out trading picks players are kept with, and so you swapping the 2nd round pick after that Omni will keep him with goes against that. If you can revise the pick, like say swap in the fourth and 6th or 8th and I can enter it from my phone I guess we will allow it. I’m going to be out and busy and the list has to be finalized an hour before the draft. This is the sort of last minute complication you make deadlines to avoid I suppose.
I think we may want to revisit the idea of trading these keeper rights before the draft too next year as it runs into some incentive problems, mostly that if someone isn’t going to keep someone it costs them nothing to trade it away, so that value necessarily must come at a cost to the rest of the league.
If you guys tell me soon a revised trade that works and I can actually executive it I’ll allow it.
We planned for that event. Since this is the rights to a player changing hands, not just a simple position swap with the rights being retained, we thought it may be allowed under the rule.
However, if not, we’ve agreed to simply swap 4th round spots as a alternative.
I’m more comfortable doing the alternative right now because swapping 2nd needs some discussion I don’t have time for. I assume you mean 4th and 8th? Since the original proposal also included an 8 and the move to the 4th already subtracts value relative to that.
