I called my mother to ask a simple question, and 27 minutes later, I had to tell a little fib so I could get off the phone. Goodness, that woman can talk!!! And the tangents - just amazing…

Magic Intartoobz Pizza turned into Sonny’s ribs instead. OYKW called me right after my last post to tell me he found a coupon in honor of the founder’s birthday. ‘Twas $8.99 for ribs, two sides, garlic bread or cornbread. A deal! Anywho I went online and found the coupon, printed off two of ‘em and we went to Sonny’s. MOOOOOOM I thought about you while gnawin’ on ribs. 
We’s stuffded and OYKW is preparin’ to have a soak in the tub. All is good.

I fell asleep and didn’t wake up until after 4. Even then I struggled to wake up. Nothing got done and I still feel groggy.
I had to undo about 12 rows of the afghan - I made a major mistake and just caught it. I’m not happy about it.
Oh well… Time to recline.

So, I start the supervisory skills class tomorrow that leads need to take. I get an hour free of Princess Ratchet-jaw’s constant yattering :D. Lunch is even being catered (periodic reward for no one doing something stupid and getting hurt), but will be later than usual, so I need to plan a decent breakfast (or take a snack for morning break).
Did get groceries, DH is going to have to deal with the car, but not tomorrow. There is no bus service in our neighborhood on Saturdays, so I have to drive to work tomorrow.
Up, caffeinated, off to work. Laundromat after work.

Up early today because **FCD **wanted to do a bike ride with his Harley chapter. They’re going to Baltimore for another dealership’s event - dunno what it is and don’t care. I don’t have to be around all those leather-clad pretenders.
BUT so far today, I’ve emptied and started refiling the dishwasher, cleaned up cat hork, showered, dressed, filled the car, and bought me a WaWa breakfast - ham, egg, and cheese on a croissant - yum!! I have no plans for the day, so I’ll figger it out as I go along. I’m thinking I might wash the car because it’s kinda grubby. If I do inside and out, that’ll kill a couple of hours.

Well, the AYSO (American Youth Soccer Orgainzation) came thought and I signed up to referee two U10 youth soccer games this morning (0830 and 0945). In addition, the game at 1100 doesn’t have an assigned referee, so I’ll probably do that one too.
So…I’ve got 150 minutes of chasing 10 year olds’ over an 80’ x 50’ field in78-86F heat and no rain in the forecast.
I’ll post this afternoon if I live.

It’s a cool sunny 67 degrees outside but supposed to get up to 90 today. Looks to be in the 90s for the upcoming week but still cooling off nicely at night.
Today we do the things that didn’t get done yesterday.
Jiffy Lube can’t update the computer/OnStar so I’ll go to the dealer. I found out the dealer up here will come pick up my truck, service it, and bring it back. Sounds better than sitting in the waiting room. I’ll see how much it costs.
So pretty much SSDD.
I’ll take a Bullet if I’m wrong, but I’d say they were a couple of nice rides. 
When breakfast is over, I’ll take tbe bike over to Possum Holler and tak a short hike. Then it’s back home to do chores.
Inside of the car is clean. As soon as Wait Wait is over, I’ll back the car out and wash the outside.
Sadly, the house is closed up - it got warm pretty quick…
