Hearts and Flowers in the MMP

Taking a break to have an orange (Cara-Cara - very yum!!) Just over an hour left - I need to find something kinda brainless to do. My brain needs a break.

The paper is a precursor to my work on using artificial intelligence to infer algorithms. The conference is on computational methods. My co-author and I were a bit nervous it might not be accepted because it is our weakest result (being so early in the research program). So for this to be accepted is very promising for the remainder of our work. We just had a breakthrough on inferring a process’ algorithm under conditions of uncertainty with respect to the number of steps in the process. It is pretty cool.

Cara-cara are my absolutely favorite oranges! So I heartily agree with the “yum yum”!

That’s cause it’s not Cleavland.

Didja realize if you even accidentally put an extra hook on the “i” in “Ohio” it becomes “Oh no”?..which pretty much sums up that state.

Conga-rats!
I lost a couple hundred dollars on a conference call today…playing solitaire.
I have plans for tonight, otherwise this sounds really, really cool to go to.

Very cool. I know just enough to be dangerous. My husband’s PhD was in data modelling.

Still waiting on that maybe snow they sorta promised. Harrumph.

Home at last - let the long weekend begin!!

Burgers and chips for supper. That’s as far ahead that I’ve been able to think. I need to pull the truck out of the yard and start loading it. Oh, and it’s rainy-ish, which adds to the fun.

Warning TMI: The ENT sprayed numbing agent into each nostril and used a camera and hemostats to pull out some stents that I did not even know were in there. He placed them during surgery and they were a medicine delivery system. These things were and inch and a half long and a half inch wide. I was shocked. This is what I get for expecting hubby to tell me anything. I did not see the doctor after surgery that day. He was doing another surgery. The pathologist report on the polyps removed was normal. This procedure today was the absolute worst thing I have ever been through.

The doctor told me he did the exact same surgery on a man from the Keys right after mine and that women are tougher than men. So there. I have to go back in two more weeks for one more de gunking and then I will be done. I need to use saline sprays and a neti pot forever in order to keep things open so polyps don’t come back.

Happy Firday!

We have supped. All is well.

roadrunner I have absolutely no idea about what you posted but congrats!

Butters I hereby convey upon you the title of most disgustin’ post of the week.

metal mouse, your plumbing woes make me glad that I can turn that kind of stuff over to apaprment management.

Congratulations roadrunner!

Nelson gets Taste of the Wild puppy formula in small sized kibble. I tried him on regular sized, but he makes a mess of that. He also gets Milo’s Kitchen, mini Milkbones and three calorie reward treats for training and spoiling.

Running water has returned to Case rat! The plumbing folks finished the job, cleaned up nicely, and departed. Of course, I still need to repair the drywall (last estimate on Monday) and fix the carpet, and the main bathroom is still a mess (can’t put the sinks back until the drywall is fixed), but dishes are washed and laundry will be done tomorrow.

Soccer refereeing tomorrow (might as well, the all-day rain is due to return).

roadrunner, have fun plotting the robot apocalypse.

Butters, TMI! Way too much TMI!! (in fairness, you did warn us, but…)

For all the Peter Rabbitfans.

I’ve apparently kilt the MMP.
I am surprised. I rather like Mister McGegor taking a full magazine of a sub machine gun.
Maybe it is just me.
Swampy?
Dogbutt?
Spiderboy?

Does that mean your paper training is officially complete?

Actually congratulations! But this being the MMP I just had to ---------------

So he bumps and beats me to the top of the page. Do I just let him hang or wait for him to hang himself later? Questions, questions, decisions, incisions.

Maybe everybody is just enjoying Friday night olympics coverage. I’m watching curling myself.

Worked, which I guess was good, vause the Canes blew it. More work tomorrow.

Congrats, Roadrunner! And welcome back!

No such thing as too much TMI.:stuck_out_tongue: But congrats on having the running water stay in the pipes.

Flytrap, I did like it. But that tank is a T34(with a non standard rounded turret), not a King Tiger

This is a photo of what they pulled out of my facial sinus. TMI.

That’s not TMI. You st least need some goo for it to be close to TMI.

There was plenty of goo. Believe me. After pulling those stents out he went back in with a vacuum cleaner and well… I shudder to remember it.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 54 Amurrkin out and partly cloudy, actually dark still, with a predicted high of 79 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. Oh and the pine trees are kickin’ up their annual orgy. ICK! We have no plans at all for the day which is fine by me. Maybe go grab a burger and a beer for N.O.L. Or not. I need to forage through freezers for foodstuffs to prepare this comin’ week. I have declared today and tomorrow to be no cook days just cause.

flytrap that’s my kind of bedtime story!

MetalMouse yay for non-leaky water!

OK, now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, well who knows! It’s all willy-nilly today!

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to work, Laundromat after work.

That’s more like it.
