Hey McUne, you got your hair cut, right? Don’t we get to see a picture?
More pics of MMP chicks the better.
**Beebs ** your starting to sound like Lunch! Sorry, but there’s no cleavage in these pics. ![]()
Pie, here you go! This was how the salon styled it, it’s not as poofy since I don’t blowdry my hair. And yes, the curl is natural. I want straight hair!!! I think I might try to straighten it this weekend to see how it looks. Now that I got half my hair cut off it shouldn’t take me an hour to blowdry and straighten it.
Front (don’t mind the odd, odd look on my face!)
Rest assured, all. There were four mice. The other three died deathly deaths last year. This one was the last of the batch.
prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
HAPPY NATAL DAY PIE!
Happy Birthday Cutie Pie!!
#1 daughter finished school today – her first year away from home. Now we have to endure her for 2 months…

Happy Birthday Pie!!
I’ve got tomatoes growing on my patio tomato plant! There are 3 little tiny ones started. But they’re grape tomatoes so they don’t have all that much growing to do anyway so we should have home-grown tomatoes soon! YAY!!
My fajita chicken pasta turned out pretty good last night except that it needed more salt. But otherwise it was good. We grilled the chicken (marinated with lime juice, oil, chili powder, onion, garlic, cayenne, and cumin), sauted peppers and onions, and cooked up some pasta and then threw it all together. We added some sour cream at the end and probably could have added some salsa. But overall not a bad experiment.
It’s Firday! Yay!!
Happy Pie Day!!!
I was out all yesterday. Drove 2 hours for a 90 minute meeting, then 2 hours back for a 3 hour meeting. My two favorite things. So then I get home, and get to go shopping with da Wife.
Cheers.
McUne Do not straighten hair. Hair is very cute. (I’m sure it would be cute straight too, but the curls are beautirific.) so decrees the girl with very straight hair.
Happy B-day Cutie Pie!!
Off to Illinois in a few hours. My Favorite Aunt is picking me up at the airport. (O’hare for those of you familiar.) :: cheers :: My Grandma was going to come get me, but she said a couple of times that she was worried about being able to read the airport signs and drive. This is the first time that I can remember thinking that she’s getting older. (She’s 65–not that old.) But, she has always seemed indestructible to me.
I don’t know how much I’ll be around next week–not being at work and all. I will have internet access though, so we’ll see.
I have my first Business meeting lunch in a little while. I’m a little nervous I’m going to spill something on myself. LOL–wish me luck.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUTIE PIE!
Happy Firday to everyone else. The sun is out, but I don’t know how long it’ll be there or what the weather is supposecd to be like this weekend.
I’m waiting for my coffee to finish brewing and then I’ll be more awake.
Hippo Birdies, Cutie Pie!!
I want cake, too! I already have the ice cream to go on it. Turkey Hill was on half price sale this week. Nom nom!
Oh, how I wish I’d been there with a camera to capture snowbunny discovering a spider crawling on her. Didja freak as much as I did that time with the leech, snowbunny?

Love, love, love the curl in your hair, McUne! Can we trade hair? Mine has about 1% wave. Dull and boring, to put it mildly!
Glad your bottom parts are feeling better, Bobbio.
Yes, Emily is an excellent mouser, Spaz. She doesn’t care about bugs, unfortunately, but Isaac loves the extra protein snacks, so he’s very good at snatching flies out of midair. I have strange pets.
Yay for DSL, Nava!
I went to bed early (for me) last night, and then could not pry myself out of bed this morning. I was really, really dragged out for no known reason, and I kept having these strange and weird dreams. So I got up long enough to open the back door for the Idiots, and then crawled back in to veg for a while longer. With the windows open and a lovely breeze blowing in the windows, it was just too nice for words! I’m hoping it doesn’t get too hot today; this house does stay pretty cool, and I’d really like to help the AC bill out by leaving it off for another day. Alas, this weekend it’s supposed to be warmer and humid, so I’m determined to enjoy this nice fresh air while I can.
I guess I really should get back to work. Much as I’d prefer to go take a nap. I’m feeling really ambitious, can’t you tell?
McUne, your hair is beautiful.
I meant to add that in the last post, but had to hop up to let the dog in and hit submit too soon.
Mc1, that’s not your front, it’s your toppish
My hair is sort of like that, too, wavy-not-curly. For some reason it surprises hairdressers immensely; I think it is because, if it’s long enough, it straightens. SiL has wavy hair too; she gets lots more kudos when it’s wavy than when she’s straightened it, but insists on straightening it. She even used to sort of take offense when people would say “oh, I love what you did to your hair!”… after she’d been caught in the rain and the hair had remembered it’s wavy. Why do we always have hair “issues”, no matter what it’s like?
This may be my last daytime - in the new digs, the floor plan is more open, so everyone and their sister will be able to see what I’m doing
I had a tough morning - last night at rehearsal, we had a quartet workshop and I was on my feet for about an hour - I slept poorly and am paying for it all today.
I am too busy to try to catch up - I still have a lot of packing to do and I still have to get my work done. (we need a shrugging smiley) oh well
I know it seems like a copout, but the sentiment is sincere

Huh, I’ve heard of happy birthday cake but not Happy Birthday Pie!!
mcune, your hair is lovely…curly AND shiney!
Happy Firday, to everyone else.
Has anyone else checked Google Maps to see if their house was on street view yet? I did that yesterday and mine is. You can look around 360° and even travel up and down the streets. Okay, I’m easily amused.
Tupug
Mine isn’t.
Mine is. I can see our two vehicles parked in our driveway and everthing. Of course, it’s looking down on top of the house view, but still cool.
Mine’s not. Hell, I doubt Google even knows where Cottonfield County is. We’re the Rodney Dangerfield corner of North Carolina, getting no respect.
Mine’s not either. Google knows where I am, but all they’ve got is a regular map. This does not surprise me.
Thanks ya’ll for the comments on my hair. Made me feel good, since no one at work has noticed my hair. I did get 6 inches cut off too. Oh well.
Mama Tigs I would love to trade hair with you! There are so many cute hairstyles I would love to do, but can’t because my hair is curly.
Though I will admit that I’m kinda liking the curl again…I go through phases, lol.
Before I got my haircut and style changed this last time, no one ever noticed when I received a haircut either, McUne, even though I would regularly lop off four to six inches. My hair grows so quickly that it wasn’t even an issue for me to cut off that much.
Now that I’ve changed the style, people noticed.
I love the curls in your hair.
