I bowled in a charity bowling tournament tonight. I bowled a 74, and got a strike. 7 days till vacation.
Wow! What a beautiful country. The blue lagoon is especially striking. Loved the doorway pics, too. And you look so relaxed! Yay!

Busy weekend for me, am hoping for a quieter week and a less hectic weekend to come. I could do with a rest but I have too much to do at home. Bah!

Nice vacation pics rigs. I third sayin’ you look relaxed. I haven’t looked at all of ‘em but so far no Hans. I’ve been lookin’ forward to seein’ Hans.
Today I take new truck to get detailed and get the insurance all switched over from Big Red the Blazer. Then it shall be pool time. Tonight is men’s night at church. I have steaks marinatin’ away right now.
Time for more caffiene and brekkies followed by purtification for runnin’ around town.

I was surprised to wake up all achey. Then I added up time spent working in gardens yesterday: 8 hours. Ouch!

Slow Monday morning for me. My birthday was yesterday (low-key woohoo for me) and I had the family over Saturday for the annual My B’day-Sister’s B’day-Father’s Day celebration. I made guacamole, boneless ribs, a most awesome batch of baked beans, potatoes & onions, cole slaw, etc. I feel like a beached whale.
The weather is finally feeling like summertime in the Chicago area and my flowers couldn’t be happier! I planted pinwheel geraniums from little tiny rhizomes just a few weeks ago, and lo and behold, they’re already in bloom! My dahlias and gazenias are finally willing to tiptoe out of their buds now that we have a little warmth in the air. Everything is looking faaaabulous, dahlings.
I’m so fucking cheerful this morning that sunshine is squirting out my ass.

Blurf. Brekkied, and off to get my second cup of WTHU. Last night I dreamed I was having insomnia, and that really messes with your head.
Oy! Tell me about it.
It rained most of last night on into this morning - my back was not happy - so I took a pain pill, called in and went back to sleep for about an hour or so - only to wake to see bright blue skies and happy (grrr) puffy white clouds.
I do believe I shall drop the blinds and pull the curtains and go back to sleep on the heating pad (it has an automatic shutoff, so don’t worry - I’ve been doing this for years)
I didn’t sleep very well last night either, and I was all achy when I woke up. But i took a couple of aspirin with my morning handful of medications, and I’m doing ok now.
I’m getting hungry, so I’ll go heat up my breakfast of leftovers.

Wow, rigs, Iceland sounds just amazing. I’m getting really itchy to do some more traveling. Why, oh, why wasn’t I born filthy rich???
Veddy, veddy HOT here. Soaked in the cement pond all weekend. I DID wait until later in the afternoon so I didn’t get horribly mutilated by the UV rays.
The cursed Lakers beat a much more deserving basketball team. That’s all I’mma say about that.
