I’m trying to track down the MP3 of the song from the movie Old School that’s played over the opening menu on the DVD and is used at a couple moments in the movie.
Essentially it’s just goes “Woo hoo, woo hoo hoo. Woo hoo, woo hoo hoo.” With a couple chords played behind it.
I realize it’s not much to go on, but if you’ve seen the movie I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. Anyone know the artist and title of that track?
And to nip it in the bud, no, it’s not “Song 2” by Blur.
It’s not. I just did some checking and that’s not the song I’m looking for. The song I’m looking for has a more pronounced guitar riff. The “woos” for lack of a better term run together to make a lyric that sounds more like “WoooWoooWoooooooooWoooooooooo” with a modulating amplitude. Make any sense?
Anyways, we’re back looking for an answer to the question. Thanks for the effort anyways. If you have the DVD, pop it in and listen to the main menu.
Man, sorry about that, Omni , I was just going from your description and thought I had it nailed. Now I’m trying to look up the soundtrack for Old School and it doesn’t seem to exist. I’ve loked on Amazon, Itunes and googled the hell out of it.
Does anyone know if they didn’t release a soundtrack, or if it’s out of print?
They did release a soundtrack, but since it’s mainly featured as the menu screen song it’s perhaps not listed as a song in the credits. I’m beginning to wonder if it’s some original score made for the film that doesn’t have a title.
My second question, if this never gets answered, is how can you rip the music off that menu so I can turn it into a ringtone?
