Help name this black-and-white cat!

Antonio

(mask tie in: Antonia Banderas played Zorro in the '98 movie)

Garçon?

After Marcel Ledbetter, of chain saw and beer joint fame?

Ooooh, that’s cute!

(SQUEE!)

No matter what name I picked, the cutiewutiefuzzykins would end up being called Fuzzball.

(I love long haired cats!)

Since he would be ignoring your call anyway.

Bruce Wayne

or…

Don Diego de la Vega

or maybe…

Ranger (of the ‘lone’ variety)

Snort

I, for one, vote for Michael. Or MJ. Or Emjay. Or notfrommensa winning the thread.

NO WAY! I had a cat named Penguin! We named him after a flightless bird in order to permanently humiliate him, 'cause otherwise cats get too uppity, y’know.

Then enjoy this photo of one of their other cats, who is both orange and long haired. He goes hunting in the dry grass in the summer and comes back absolutely matted with burrs, but he catches lots of squirrels.

Cute, ain’t he?

A cat named “Oswald Cobblepot” would be way over the top. I love it. “Garçon” is great. “Michael Jackson” is hysterical. “Phantom” is fun; they’ve already considered “Erik”, but since we don’t live in an opera house, it’s less appropriate.

Zorro, for sure.

Zorro. He looks dashing. And like he’s wearing a black cape. And he could swoosh it. Just needs a little kitty sword. And opposable thumbs.

I’m at work and I can’t see the photo! Waah! I wanna play, too!

<sulking in the corner>

Just picture Michael Jackson in a Zorro mask, waiting tables, and go from there.

Oreo, as all b&w cats should be called.

Or Eddie.

If he has big, white feet (I looked at only the first pic), you could skirt the mask issue and name him after the dread pirate Jean Lafitte, as my mom did years ago with a similar cat. I hereby release all cat-naming rights for said name, bad pun included, should you choose to use it, with all accompanying rights and responsibilities.

Pretty kitty!

I must say, Zorro is growing on me.

I came in to suggest Zorro, but I’ve been beaten to the punch. 2d choice- Opus (the penguin in Bloom County).

Bertrand du Guesclin. Aka “Bert.”

black + white = Blight or Whack, quite literally

I might actually name it Phantom, after the Phantom of the Opera (or Erik, the POTA’s actual name). Bonus mask reference.

Zorro is OK I guess.
