Here doesn't come the sun- a MMP

The cyborg formerly known as kaylasdad99 has now both pooped and showered twice since returning home from the hopspittle. Plus, I seem to have got my sleepage under control. Now it’s just a matter of finding something to occupy my waking hours. Going kinda stir crazy, here!

Thank you, and have a nice day!

Grrr. I went to watch *Amadeus *and it froze up because the DVD is scratched.

I’m giving up on this week. retreats into cave

There’s no commission, you know.

**Daaaaad **- congrats on pooping!!

Supper has been ingested - I do so love rotissed chickie!! There’s tons of chickie left (we can’t eat a 5# chicken ourselves) so in the next day or so, it’ll be cut up for soup or chickie-n-dumplins or maybe both. Then I’ll boil the carcass for broth.

No dessert. Not sure we could fit any anyway. Stuffded!!!

It’s supposed to drop to the mid 40s tonight, so windows will be closed. I expect Taz will want to be under my covers because he’s a wuss!!!

We have also dined. ‘Twas tres nummy and we are both stuffded. There’s ice cream for later if desired. Earlier today I was ponderin’ what to make for Sunday N.O.L. when the <snerk> Quickie <snerk> informed me via facebook that they have their famous roast pork ‘n dressin’. I told OYKW and by a landslide unanimous vote, we shall have <snerk> Quickie <snerk> for N.O.L. tomorrow.

{{{sunny}}} feel better soonest.

BigKitty sometimes the only thing to do is retreat inside the cave. Know the feelin’.

DAAAAAAD congrats on the poopage and the showers. I trust they did not occur at the same time.

Thanks for sharing!

:dubious:

This whole thing of air moving through one’s sinuses is a very odd feeling! And I seem to be noticing more smells.

:dubious:

Time to recline till I’m too tired to do any more afghanin’.

MWAH!

Look you. I hab a cold. You are now on my list. And Blorf! Are You Happy!? ::crawls under covers with tissues::

Blorf!!!

Is DH blamin’ the dog more and more?

I also am stuffed. I had lunch at a local Orthodox church that was holding their annual Greek food festival. Nom nom!!! All of it home made, the baklava, the dolmades, the falafel, the orange fennel sausage, the spanakopita. Pardon me while I come out of my food coma.

Topeka, for all that it’s not a huge city, has some good food fests. There’s the German fest in June, the Fiesta Mexicana in July, the India fest in August, and the Greek one in October. The latter also have an open house in the church, to show the community about their worship practices.

Donwanna do homework…

Home from the armpit.

It wasn’t so bad and we had meatloaf with N.O.T., carrots, corn, and applesauce for dinner. Then I took a short nap, we loaded up the truck and came home.
I remembered to cut a bunch of lavender this time. Now the house will smell good.
I hope by next spring I will feel up to some yard work and can plant some lavender. I wish I had a nice spot for a butterfly bush.

I planted what I thought was lavender this year. It never bloomed and I was sad. Then I picked a leaf off and realized someone played a dirty trick on me–it was actually rosemary.

I want real lavender. :frowning:

I gotta copyright “Blorf”.

You can’t. I already did.

I’d send you some. One of the plants really took off this year. It spread and is quite tall as well. The other one doesn’t get as much sun but it is still blooming well.
I think I may have brought too much home though, I already had to move it from the living room to the hall and some of it may be going outside next.
It’s a little too much.

Congrats on the showers and poopage, Dad

Yay for being able to smell, gotti!

Just got home from the bonfire. It was fun with good food and quite the campfire band ( two guitars, an acoustic bass, a mandolin, a bunch of percussion, my recorder, a ukulele, a harmonica and several pennywhistles. We played and sang songs from the classics to classic rock to folk and current pop with many in between.).

I’s tahred!
