Actually, I never saw that. I am usually doing something else at the same time I have the episode on.
Hearing that song during the whole episode was very distracting. The fact that it was in my head did not make it any better.
That comes later, I’m sure. I have no actual knowledge of that but I’m pretty sure that will happen.
In an interview Kring was saying that next season will deal will the families and what happened in the past. I have a feeling one of the plots will be Mohinder looking for his sister.
I am a bit confused. Is it two more episodes and then the finale? Or are there only two episodes left?
I’m not sure that Syler actually got that power. As I recall, Hiro traveled back in time to save her from Syler…she then told him that she had a brain clot that was going to kill her very soon. Then Hiro jumped back to Japan…so I’m not sure if Syler killed her in the “altered” timeline when Hiro went back in time or if she died of natural causes. It wasn’t really shown one way or another I don’t think.
Edited to add: Oh, and I think that next Monday they air two episodes back to back…the last of which will be the season finale.
I don’t think Sylar did get super-memory. That was before he had access to Mohinder’s board of powered people and results - but he was upset and didn’t look like he could recall any details from it when it broke.
Covered in one of the comics, Sylar did in fact kill Charlie. – not so sure it was “super memory” as much as it was “super learning” or something to that affect… but nonetheless, sylar has Charlies power…
When Sylar put on the glasses, I had that whole scene from the Tick run thru my head…
Tick: Hey Gabriel, have you seen sylar? he was just here…
Sylar: It’s me, see (takes off glasses).
Tick: Oh, Sylar! There you are…
Don’t mention the comics, someone will get very angry.
It was covered on air also. The comics sometimes just reiterate what was on screen. When Hiro showed up the second time from the past Texas there was a quick montage. Part of it showed the waitress getting sliced up. It still happened. The whole sequence just proved that time is unforgiving and Hiro is not all powerful. He may be able to change events but it is not going to be easy.
I have been hoping for this.
Hiro travels back in time and he ends up being the legendary samurai that his dad told him stories about when he was a kid and he ends up having “Mad Samurai Skilz” and during that time he learns to fully control his power.
I’ve been thinking the same thing for a while. It may still happen. Why else mention the legend of that samurai guy?
I’m like 98% sure that the VO for the previews said “over the next two Mondays…” but as always check your local listings.
I hate having to spoiler this released/seen in preview stuff but:
Hiro’s dad knows something we don’t, and Hiro, according to a released episode synopsis, is going to “learn something about his past”. We only have two days before the election, but Hiro doesn’t need to be a badass Samurai to stab somebody and I think his Dad may give him just the kick in the ass that he needs to kill Sylar next episode.
Since it’s a given that Hiro’s father has a power…
On that note, what about Syler’s mom? Up until this week, every parent of a super that we have met also had a demonstrated power, with the possible exception of George Takei. But since he appears to know all about things, I think it’s safe to assume he has one as well. So what was Syler’s mother’s power, and why did we learn nothing about it?
We’ve seen Niki’s father - no super-powers. We’ve seen DL’s mother - no super-powers. Sylar’s mother - no super-powers. We don’t know that Nathan and Peter have a super-parent, nor that Hiro does. And we’ve seen a whole host of heroes whose parents haven’t been mentioned one way or the other (e.g., Matt, Ted, Wireless, Candace, etc.)
So far the only super’s we seen who have super parents for sure are Claire and Micah. It’s another wild speculation to jump to the conclusion that all heroes must have super-parents because of these two examples and some hopeful thinking about Mama Petrelli and Sulu.
I think she had the ability to be super-annoying.
Didn’t you see the half-eaten morsel on the plate?
Sylar’s Mom’s power was to make a completely irresistible tuna fish sandwich.
And yet Sylar resisted it. Who do you suppose he had to kill for that power?
If you are interested in Hiro’s father he has a new website. It’s supposed to lay the groundwork for next season but there isn’t much there now.
I watch Heroes via download from iTunes, which does not have the previews included, and I prefer it that way. I’d much rather be totally surprised by what happens in the actual episodes.
Here’s a vote for “please spoiler preview info.” Or at least warn that your post is going to include preview info.
I make my vote for no spoilers for preview info. It’s been broadcast on the public airwaves, for heaven’s sake. It’s not like we’re hunting up double-secret obscure information here. If your personal preference is to not watch previews, well, tough. They’re always misleading and silly, anyway. Better they be dis-regarded than spoiler-boxed. Plus, they’re re-broadcast about a hundred times during the week in commercials.
Well, there were no signs of daddy (Rick Moranis) around…
