I’ll be there. Don’t have any good ideas on where “there” should be, though. Somewhere Zyzzy can have something vegan, though, it’s no good for him to sit there watching us eat.
I will be there. I’d like to go somewhere where I can get some fruits and vegetables. Healthy stuff. I’ve gotten my weight down to 225 and I don’t want some sumptuous Dopefest to be a stumbling block.
I’ll be in Los Angeles this weekend, so I can’t make it.

Ok, so I think we’ve eliminated McDonalds and Pac Bell Park. (Aside from ChaCha bowls, but the line’s too long usually.)
FTR, ate at UNO on Lombard this weekend and noted that they have about a half-dozen salad choices (soups too), as well as several pastas that can be made as low- or high-fat as the diner wishes. (I neglected to ask if the marinara is vege or made with anchovy though.) I assume the Embarcadero would have the same or similar menu, along with all the usual pizza/burger/sandwich choices, and a full bar, for anyone interested in getting an early buzz on. (They had a veggie burger and sandwich as well, if I recall correctly.)
At the risk of becoming very unpopular, I’ll also throw out that the Rainforest Cafe at Fisherman’s Wharf also has an elaborate menu which features quite a few low-fat/veggie items as well as the usual fare. Not sure how ungodly crowded it will be on a Saturday afternoon though. If memory serves, Embarcadero center is pleasingly near deserted on weekends.

This sounds like fun… I’d like to go, but I don’t think I can make it. By a strange coincidence, I’m turning 21 on the 6th. So I’ll probably (hopefully) be incapable of getting myself across the bridge as early as noon on saturday.

I appreciate the invite, but well, I don’t know what any of you look like. And I’m not sure how popular it’d make me if I just showed up at Uno’s hollerin “WHERE’S THE DOPE UP IN THIS PIECE?!” ya know? But I’m considering it. I guess what it comes down to is whether or not I’m able to wake up early enough to get over there.
If Demo would tell us what name he made the reservation under, you’d be able to find us with no problem! 
(I’m guessing, Cecil Adams, Straight Dope…or just tell them you’re meeting a large group of internet people and you don’t know what they look like. I’m sure they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.)
