Right now I’m a little bored - waiting for someone to finish up the first step in a large project before handing it over to me. But overall, I’m loving my job!
I had one rough day which actually led to better communication between me and the person who pushed my buttons.
My most difficult task is not falling into the cynical trap that one of my co-workers has. She constantly bitches about people behind their backs and wants me to support her, agree with her and get into that groove.
I learned my lesson years ago. When I start comparing myself to others and all I am is disappointed. I either feel schadenfreude for those worse off than me and feel guilty about that, or I am jealous of those better off than me.

You’ve learned something that many people miss, compete with only yourself, and you’ll motivate yourself forward. Looking at others will feed either your ego or starve it, neither is very healthy and holds you back. Smart lady!!
