And I feel rotten about it because it looks as if Hurricane Michelle may be moving across Florida early next week, getting uncomfortably close to Clan DeDay in Mouseland.
Sorry, Rue!! Really!! I wanted you to experience the wonderfulness that is me, but that storm ain’t it. I’m not half so violent… Hope it veers away.
Wow, which way to go with this?
Just standing outside, I could get blown by… no, too obvious.
When Michelle comes to town, every one gets wet… still a little too crude.
There’s the whole wind angle, but Snickers is a refined lady, so that doesn’t work…
Hmmm… I give up.
Anyway, doesn’t the House of the Mouse have a retractable dome or something? Not to worry, one way or another, we’ll enjoy the trip.

my favourite site to hurriacane viewing is moreweather.com it tend to get less traffic than noaa. it also gives you a nice summary after.
So, it’s really YOU that’s a storm in the form of a girl and not hardy?
Sounds like a great time to visit the House of the Mouse. Best time we had (no lines, not 100 in the shade) was when a 'cane was churning out in the Gulf of Mexico. Close enough to cause gusty wind and some rain, but not so close to be a problem (most nor’easters here in the land of PlanMan and FCM are worse than that storm). Also, a friend was in Orlando last weekend and says its a ghost town - nobody is there. So unless [Paul McCartney voice] Michelle [/Paul McCartney voice] turns north - have a great time!
Altho … we could use the rain.
Sadly, I lost the “girl” form many years back… <deep sad sigh> And if this hurricane is anything like me, it’ll make a lot of noise, then slink away without accomplishing much. No, I don’t have issues - why do you ask??
PlanMan, you ain’t kidding about needing the rain. I hate when my lawn crunches underfoot. Hubby’s on his way to the marina to make sure our dock lines are sound - a nor’easter could blow Wandering Star out of her slip and into several other vessels. That would be bad.
