Same here. Much to my surprise and amazement, my friends did reveal that they do remember my birthday. It’s just a matter if we’re going to be going out on the 13th or 14th. I should know by this evening.

Where are you coming in from? Is there no way to take Foothill Transit? I know it runs from downtown LA, and all through the foothill cities.
Oh, I haven’t forgotten Foothill Transit. It’s just that they don’t run between Pasadena and Downtown L.A. I’d have to go to Monrovia on the 494, then transfer to the 187 to get to Pasadena. Unfortunately, there is no return trip because the 494 is a commuter bus that makes all of its west-bound runs in the morning only.
The MTA has made its final offer to the union, and the union has until Thursday morning to accept. Maybe everything will be back to normal by Monday, but that would be too late for me to attend.

How bad is it that I’m too lazy to email? Sorry Ruffian. Anyway, although my friends didn’t get back to me yet, I don’t think I’ll be going. Among other things, I’ve been having a doozy of a bad week, and if I go, I will get hit by lightning, guarenteed. Maybe I’ll photoshop myself in when/if the pics are posted. 
I plan on being there. Sorry for the late reply.

Unfortunately, I’m not going to be able to make it after all. Damn! I’d much rather be hanging out with you lot than sitting around my apartment nursing this cold…or sleeping some more (I’ve done nothing but sleep for the last two days. I hate being ill.
