At my house too! Arby’s rueben for me and roast beast/cheddar for the roomie. They were out of chicken nuggets and apologized all over the place. I was fine, I was jonesing for a rueben.
Evening all. Watched all sorts of tackleball on Red Zone (covers all the games as they happen live, switching back and forth), Browns managed not to screw up too much, so I’m satisfied. Used a gift card for Cracker Barrel for dining out, I wish they’d change the fries, they are not to my taste, but for what amounted to a free meal, I’ll manage.
Need to do some soccer stuff I have been putting off…do some of it tonight, rest tomorrow.
Don’t you mean the Chefs? (old Snickers commercial).
nellie, glad you were able to rescue the umbrella; and a 9-hour flight ain’t bad, my own personal best was 15 1/2 hours (Sydney, Australia to Dallas, Texas), glad they are where they wanted to be.
Stay dry, Seanette.
Unknown, nice husband-management.
OK, better actually do something. All ya’all take care and I’ll catch you on the next MMP.
I’d be deeply wounded, but we won, so nyah, nyah, nyah.
nettie, sounds like a cozy evening. Are drivers getting worse at driving? Seems like it to me. So many of them are angry and distracted.
I remember those days. I thought Dad was so clever because he figured out Arby’s=RB’s for roast beef. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I like the idea. Anyway, I remember going there in 1973 and getting those triangular hash brown patties. I can’t remember what they were called. I also liked their Jamocha shakes.
Party at flyboy’s!
Speaking of ‘misdelivering’…Apparently, my daughter has to go to the address 372 Davis, in the next town over. It was delivered to THAT town, rather than OUR town. Totally different zip codes, too. My daughter was absolutely freaked out over it. It was an item that was well over $100, that she bought for her dad, for Christmas. Something for a guitar/amp/whatever. Anyway, she looked up the address on the county property tax site, then got their name, then, she searched for them on Facebook. She messaged them. They actually answered her. They’re going to put it in their mailbox, for her to pick up in the morning. We’ll see if that truly happens, though. Argh. She ordered it from someone on Ebay. That seller said he’d ‘look into it’, and then heard NOTHING else. So, we’ll see what happens.
