Not to presume to speak for Miller , but I’m pretty sure it’s a cardinal reference.

I looked through all of those pics looking for an ick. Even a really close hug, or something. But they are just…normal pics, of an older woman, smiling and laughing and looking happy.
Is this really what we are at, at a society? That when I am her age and smile and laugh, in public, with a younger man, people will point and say ‘ick’.
It’s amazing the number of people interested in this type of tabloid fodder, isn’t it?
In the OP’s defense, that fourth picture is HILARIOUS.

Do you want the truth, or a good lie?

Leave Hillary alone!
My enjoyment of this thread has little to do with Ms. Clinton. It’s mostly the ridiculosity of the original article linked in the OP.

Maybe Mr Obama keeping one of his promises like to get the troops out of Iraq…
More like she was welcoming Hansel and Gretel to her cottage.

I’m waiting for people to wonder who that hot young thing had to sleep with to get where he is. He’s clearly a flirt. And he looks so sexy in his suit – what kind of impression is he trying to give people?
Still think it’s hot all around.
I’m not sure that’s the adjective I would choose. But in picture number five, the foreign Secretary reminds me of Robert Morse, as Finch, in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying .
And was that David Letterman in the yellow tie?
But they’re all Hillary-ous.
SA : Letterman ain’t as good-looking.
That’s ‘hillaryous’.
Edit: curse you, NinetyWt !
I know. I was bein’ face-tious.
That’s right, ‘mika. You and I can go on a cougar-spree across the country, ravishing nubile young lads right and left ! LOCK UP YOUR SONS !! WE’RE TAKIN’ A ROAD TRIP !!
How does laughing and touching someone on the arm constitute a “crush”?

No. I am assuming the OP just hates Hilary Clinton in general. I thought the pictures were nice.

Seconded. Sheesh, she is one of the most accomplished women in our country, and she’s smiling and laughing and that’s worthy of mocking? I think not.
Another picture. Poll | Do you have a 'big crush' on David Miliband? | Opinion | theguardian.com
http://www.vogue.com/feature/2009_December_Jonathan_Van_Meter_Profile_of_Hillary_Clinton/
When I mentioned to her over lunch that I had spoken with him, she lit up. “Oh, my God!” I joked that I got a crush over the phone in about five seconds partly because of his accent, and she said, “Well, if you saw him it would be a big crush. I mean, he is so vibrant, vital, attractive, smart. He’s really a good guy. And he’s so young!”
For his part, Miliband seems smitten, too. “She applies intellect but also psychology to the dossiers that she’s studying. She uses her experience in a very impressive way. She brings it to bear in a way that enriches a conversation but doesn’t swamp it. She learns from history without being trapped by it. I think it’s also important to say that she’s delightful to deal with one on one. She’s someone who laughs and can tease, and she’s got perspective as well.”
Interesting. Too bad she doesn’t come across anything like that publicly.
Would Richelieu have sent someone the equivalent of a reset button with an unfortunate additional connotation? Publicly put down his own country or king (assuming he wouldn’t get guillotined)? I think not.
