Ho Fucking Ho - December Mini-Rants

There seems to be a lot of brain damage in this scenario.

4 concussions in the past 5 years.

This is quite an old posting, but somehow I just now spotted it.

Yes, fluticasone nasal spray has been OTC (and generic) for quite some time. The asthma inhalers, on the other hand, are not (and likely never WILL be). Considering how much trouble an asthmatic who is not managing their condition properly might get into, I suspect this is wise.

Fluticasone sprays are banned in my house because of their reek, anyway (we use Nasacort or the generic). :skunk:

I have spoken to one pharmacist who is surprised they aren’t making flovent anymore. I read an article about the “generic” and tried to explain, but I probably botched it. My insurance isn’t going to cover it regardless. When I finally see my doctor, I’m going to see if she can come up with an alternative that is covered. sigh

Oh, I’m supposed to use flonase too, but I can’t stand the stuff running down the back of my throat. Ugh.

@Sylvanz, not trying to pick on you, but did you notice this is in the December rant thread and we’re currently in March?

Yep, I knew. But something came up that I was interested and involved with. By the by, I didn’t resurrect the thread, I’ve just continued the necromancy.

(chuckling)

Mea culpa, mea maxima culpa… ooooooh braaaaaaaainssssssss
