I tol’ y’all I was going nappies. I even woke up right on time without the alarm clock (which is good because apparently I hadn’t finished setting it and it reverted to the workday setting). Besides, I’m old and if I don’t nap now, I’ll never make to midnight. Now I’ll get dressed, clean out the back seat of my car, stop and pick up some Toasted Almond ingreedamints and head off to pick up my passengers
I think I’ll put on a little eye makeup and bring the camera along. It’s just my homies, but still. And we don’t have any recent group shots.
Lasagna for dinner, served by the staff of Arizona Pizza. It was good but it was HUUUUUUUGE! I ate about half, and I’ve got the other half for lunch tomorrow. I emptied the dryer, and tossed in the sheets from the washer. We’ve put fresh sheets on the bed, and now we’re chillin’ - so, how long before we both fall asleep? I can promise it’ll be way before midnight.
The rain has started, and if predictions hold true, we’ll get close to an inch before it’s all over some time tomorrow. Lucky for us we have no place to go, so yay!

No nap for me today, unless dozing for about 30 minutes in the chair counts. I went to the grocery store, put them up, chilled and watched football, then took the aminals to the dog park. Wore me out!
I got a call from my son. He wanted to bring over the rent money, and - oh by the way - he lost his job. For cutting up at work. :eek: He says he’ll be fine. I’ll have to trust him, won’t I? It’ll be ok. ::crosses fingers::

I unclogged the kids’ bathtub drain (yuck), took a shower, unclogged my bathroom sink drain (too much damn hair), did a load of laundry, and played some more WoW.
I’m fixing to heat the last of the soup for dinner. Tomorrow I’ll have to actually cook something new up. I haven’t decided what it will be, yet.
We are staying home and playing WoW. This will be the first time in years that we haven’t partied it up on NYE. It’ll be nice.

Happy New Year! We’re eating pizza, and I’m going to heat up cider with spices. Mine will have rum in it, but I won’t start drinking until nine at the earliest.
I spent the last two hours carefully constructing a mid-18th century undress jacket out of stretch cotton knit. :rolleyes: It’s got a complicated back and side gores. The sleeves will be 3/4 length with double falling ruffles.
I’m insane.
Attacks Husband is supposed to come over later and hang out and ring in the new year.
Peas and greens a’cookin’! It was nice having somebody else wash collard greens and tear ‘em. Our friends brought over a bucket o’ hot wings from Hooters. MMMMMMMM… good! Ok, just sneakin’ in to see what everyone else is up to. Tigs is starting our official MMP New Year’s thread tomorrow, I know, but, since I won’t be back up in here before midnight…
