Homer Simpson: "USA! USA!"

seeing the firefighters chant “USA!” during bush’s encouraging speech to them jogged my memory of at least one Simpson’s episode where Homer does the same sort of thing in his living room. i can’t remember which episodes, anybody know?

let me state lest anyone make assumptions: i think that the firefighter’s chant was patriotic and appropriate. they are making such great sacrifices that i would support anything they said. this question is not about the appropriateness of their chanting. this question is also in no way meant to demean the chant, i just can’t remember the episodes.

Might it be the flashback episode where he’s watching the 1984 Olympics? Only one I can think of OTTOMH.

Man, I can see it in my head. He and MArge are in the car, MArge agrees to something they were arguing over briefly, and he beeps the horn, flashing the lights, and chanting it…
But what were they arguing about…?

Marge agreed to meet with Bart’s teacher on parent-teacher conference night, so Homer could meet with Lisa’s.

Studi

Homer chanted U-S-A! in at least two episodes; both from the 4th season, and both of which have been mentioned here:
“Itchy & Scratchy the movie” (9F03) - see what Studi said
“Lisa’s first word” (9F08) - Homer in line at Krusty burger getting free burgers from the promotional deal.
