That was an experience, but even after Allison I still had over a dozen people show up. Course I had food for 50… Oh well, we ate good for two weeks.

Well, since the Houston group bailed out, except for beatle, and didn’t make the Austin dopefest, I may just have to come to Houston to see y’all. And since Scotticher was disappointed that she didn’t get to meet Ayesha and MsRobyn and all of the rest of y’all, maybe I can talk her into coming back to come down with me (don’t count on that).

The Houston Dopers have been trekking to Austin too many times! It’s time we put our collective (in my case, size 10) foot down and DEMAND they deign to visit our humble city. We may not be as sophisticated as Austin, but we’ve got our good points.

If I can make it at all, the 29th will be the best day for me. My birthday is the 30th, so I could call this a birthday party.
Plus, I’ll take 'most any opportunity to see Purplebear, and I hope you can bring Mr. Bear along. It was a pleasure meeting him last week.

We have an evening wedding that we are attending on the 29th and the weekend of the 22nd is the baby shower. Oh well, maybe the next one.
