Hi there, I’m a newbie here but I’m from Houston too. Is this get together more of a “We’re all friends and we don’t know you and we tell a lot of inside jokes that you just won’t get…” kinda thing or can me and my awesome personality just jump in too? I’ve been coming here for about a year and a half but just didn’t feel a need to join until now. 
Please feel free to join us, tempest. Most of us have already met at previous Dopefests, but we’re always happy to meet newbies. We were all new here at one point

Alas, somehow my faulty brain got the date wrong, & when I awoke and checked what time the party was getting started on Sunday… I discovered they’d had it without me on Saturday.
