Y’all are possible attendees I’ve never met. I’ve met all of the above possibles and impossibles, some, by now, many times. I can look at that list and see that some of them have yet to meet each other. And, I’d never met any of 'em the first time I showed up. Hope y’all can make it.

BTW, I’m one of the shy ones…, I’ll be wearing clothes.

Since Tempest2_2 has broken the ice… mind if I come too? I’m new to the SDMB and to Texas, but I’m in Austin now, so if someone would be kind enough to let me ride from here to Houston (assuming people from here are going) with them I’d really appreciate it.

By the way, I take it this is an overnight thing. Right?

I’m a bit confused, then. If things start at six, it doesn’t seem reasonable to drive back to Austin afterwards. What gives?

Firx, it’s just that there’s nothing official overnight about it. If you need to make arrangments to stay a night, you’re on your own (unless someone offers to host you, which has been known to happen)

I’m also in Austin now, but I’ll probably be driving back that same night, or staying with people I know in Houston.
