House 11/20 - Open spoilers

Tonight, House deals with a magician’s medical malady.

Don’t know if he’s keeping or dumping anyone.

Please let Michael Michele have something to contribute besides eye candy.

As usual, I can’t wait. 9pm EST is a long time from now. More Wilson, please. And #13 needs to come over to my house and play doctor.

I can’t believe it It’s Lupus. It’s never Lupus.

Unfortunately I only saw the first few minutes and the diagnosis because my Mom called to solidify the Thanksgiving plans. I am relying on the rest of you to let me know what happened.

Shamrock,

It’s not lupus. It was a blood transfusion with the wrong blood type..

I’m going to marry #13. Sooooo hot.

She’s been fired.

It wasn’t lupus. :frowning: The guy had Type A blood but got Type AB because of some antibody that showed up in his blood. He didn’t die either.

Could the previews be true?

Could we really be getting rid of some or all of the new ducklings? It said something about House getting his “dream team,” which might be cypher for, all of the ducklings go away and he gets the Cottages back. Hmmm.

No, it

WAS lupus. The creation of the antibodies was caused by lupus. He didn’t even mention lupus until they figured out that he had A, not AB.

I’m confused –

I thought it was lupus, and I got a kick out of House saying “and it’s actually lupus this time.” It’s a cheap joke, but I have cheap taste. I thought what was going on was that the lupus was causing his auto-immune system to creating B antibodies when his blood type was actually A.

I’m also a nitpicker, and I was surprised when House told 13 that she was the only one who didn’t drink caffeine. Shouldn’t Big Love also abstain from caffeine?

I’m pretty sure it said House picks his dream team, while showing the 4 candidates who haven’t been voted off the island yet.

Didn’t House say that she was the only one who drank decaf? Maybe Big Love didn’t drink any coffee at all (even decaf).

It could be that Big Love never drank coffee at all, while 13 mixed and matched to limit her caffeine intake.

Heck, more than 2 cups of tea within a 4 hour stretch and I shake, rattle and roll more than she does – except I know I’ve got a caffeine buzz going on.

I wonder if the plastic surgeon asked for his money back?

I know that there are champions of this duckling here, but please for the love of Og let…

Cut Throat Bitch

go for the final. I. can. has. not. stand.

As to the episode (although this is a common refrain), can we have more Wilson? I swear that there’s just never enough.

Thankyouthankyouthankyou for filling the screen with Cuddy’s (reportedly pantiless) trunk-junk, even if only in broad self-parody.

Just to clarify one more time, the initial problems were because of lupus. That caused a fake B-antigen (or antibody? I get the two confused…but would he have made both? Which one do they normally test for?) At any rate, because of that, they gave him AB blood, not A, and the rest of the problems were because of that.

And no more morman? I almost kinda liked him. Better than Kumar, at any rate. And I guess I’m one of the ones who likes cut-throat bitch (especially with the whole thong and then no underwear thing…I know I shouldn’t find her hot, but I do! God help me!)

My final guess: plastic surgeon, numero 13, and CTB. At least we didn’t have stupid scenes with Chase and Cameron. Or maybe we did and it was when I was making dinner and missed a few scenes. Speaking of which, what was the deal with House in the room with #13 and getting sick? And then he was drugged? Huh?

I was floored with who was fired, actually.

House was sure it wasn’t “bad blood” in the transfusion that he offered to get a transfusion from the same batch to prove it ain’t tainted. Thirteen administered the transfusion. House got feverish, but that was a false positive. The blood ain’t tainted, so House was right all along.

However, Thirteen and the other wannabes didn’t want to let go of the “bad blood” diagnosis without confirming via biopses. House didn’t want the foot-long needle jabbed into his liver, so the only way to get him to cooperate was to drug him with knockout meds in his coffee.

Everyone thought that Big Love did the drugging, because he had immunity this week. However, Thirteen implied she actually did it since House drugged her coffee earlier in the episode.

The ducklings have all grown on me now. I’m going to miss Big Love. I think **bouv **is right about the final lineup, but I’d miss the plastic surgeon the least, so I’m rooting for Kumar, Thirteen and CTB.

The Polite Dissent guy cries foul on the whole mis-typed blood scenario.

I liked the patient of the week more than usual.

Heck, House’s slight of hand wasn’t even that bad!

Good episode overall. Not enough Wilson, granted. And if they can’t give Foreman something to do, let him go. But I miss Chase. Must be the only one, apparently.

Interesting how 13 stood up for her right Not to know, after House made the big deal with the magician about how it’s better to know.

I felt bad for Kumar! I mean, someone he thought was a friend gives him the knife? That’s gotta hurt. The look on his face…

I was pleased to see Big Love go.

Can anyone explain why Cameron’s so prominently displayed on the preview and trailer clips when she’s hardly on the show anymore? I’m hoping this doesn’t mean they’ll be reverting back to the original set. That would suck, IMO.

I’d like to see Kumar and 13 survive. House might keep Kumar for exactly the reason expressed last night… Cuddy finds him a liability with his setting things on fire and such. The other two candidates are a tossup. But he might only pick two because of Foreman being there. Who knows anymore what the rules are!
