Me neither. His character is just becoming annoying as he loafs around with no purpose.
I’m soooo glad CTB got the axe.
Not a spectacular episode, but lots of good House/Cuddy interaction/manipulation.

Last night, we’d just finished Bones, which I think is steadily improving, and it was time for House, and then suddenly my discontent boiled over, and I ranted to my (long-suffering) wife a while.
I hate this season. I hate hate hate the “American Idol”-style elimination business. It’s just an echo of those crappy reality shows. There’s no-one to identify with, because they could be Out next week.
And so as of last night I’ve Officially Stopped Watching.
Cuddy didn’t want ‘gender equality’ - its probably an overall requirement for the team that a female be present (female patients, etc) or per hospital requirement (since it is also an educational thingy).
I don’t understand the hatred for CTB. I rather liked her and her conniving ways.
I originally hated 13 and Kutner, (that’s a typo waiting to happen) but they’ve grown on me. My seething hatred for Taub has reached a remarkable new height after this episode.
:smack: How did I miss that #13 gets to stay? I thought it was down to Cuddy’s picks. Was this a very last minute thing??
Yes, at the very end. Did you miss the part where Cuddy tells him he can’t pick two men? She tries to get him to swap one of the men for one of the women. I forget the exact conversation, but then she finally tells him he can hire 13.
I didn’t like this episode at all, and I am a total fanboy when it comes to House. CTB was a useless character and I’m glad to see her gone. The House-Wilson interaction here seemed really…overdone, implausible, stereotyped? I can’t put my finger on the exact reason it irked me, but irk it did.
Foreman was intensely irritating. Please have him run over by a bus. And don’t let Cameron dye her hair ever again. Every time I see that bottle blond I want to cry.
So…when they get done with the stuff you hate, that’s when you decide to stop? I’d say give the non-America Idol episodes at least a try.
You know Jennifer Morrison is a natural blonde, right?
And Britney Spears is a natural brunette. Both look better with their bottled color, IMO.
FWIW, she’s a brunette in all but one of the pictures of her on her website.
Oh wow, I didn’t know that. I guess I just got so used to seeing her with brown hair that the blond seems unnatural. I hereby amend my statement to “please force her head into a sink and pour dye on her flowing locks.”
She suggested he hire two men and then said he couldn’t? Odd.
And as far as the blonde hair, perhaps they stripped the brown color out of it, but what was left can’t be her real natural color. It doesn’t look right.
Apparently Cuddy made those suggestions assuming he would choose the opposite candidates out of spite. House went along with her choices because he knew she couldn’t then object to them, and would be obliged to let him have thirteen also.
I had assumed that a gender mix was required for the TV show, but that’s the first indication that it was an actual requirement for House’s team.
I can’t say I loved the episode-- the actual patient wasn’t interesting enough for that-- but I did love those House/Cuddy moments. I wonder if I’m just imagining all this sexual tension, or if they’re doing it on purpose, but either way it makes me squeal every time they’re in the same room.
As for Jennifer Morrison being a natural blonde, I think she’s one of those people who just looks more striking with her hair dyed. I knew a girl whose natural color was this platinum blonde, but she always dyed her hair nearly black, because that actually looked more natural on her-- when she didn’t dye it, people would ask her “why do you dye your hair? it looks so much better natural.”
Speaking of hair, I didn’t realize 'til yesterday that Olivia Wilde (who plays 13) was on The OC as a blonde bisexual chick. I indulged in some youtube on the subject, and dear GOD she is relentlessly hot, but wayyyyy hotter with dark hair. (Needless to say I’m glad she gets to stay. Thank you, TV Gods of Hotness.)
I’m surprised Cutner is staying, though… I like Kal Penn, but his character is just sort of unremarkable, to me.
As others have observed, it might policy to have a female doctor for patients of that sex who are uncomfortable being examined by a man.
Thanks! It’s still unclear to me how I missed all that
I’m really glad they kept Thirteen (and I hope they keep calling her that). She has the cutest mouth agape look.
As for the discussion of natural hair color, I think it’s high time someone bit the bullet and undergo a mission to examine the hair color on Jennifer Morrison’s nude body. I’d like to volunteer for this mission.

They once slept together:
Hahaha! I knew they’d slept together once, but I’m laughing at the fact that the entire wiki entry seems to have been written by a 'shipper.
I guess that does answer my question in one way or another, though, doesn’t it?
