House 12/2

A fitness trainer films an infomercial and collapses in the process.

strangles House

Whyyyyyyy?

Whyyyyy do I have to be a Huddy shipper?

Wow. Lori Petty. The best work she’s done in years, and she doesn’t have a line.
Pooor Cuddy.

I don’t think poor Cuddy. I think the writers are going to draw this out–as they should. The story arc deserves more than 3 shows and suddenly they’re a couple. I think House was more than usually dickish, and I wonder if it was him that got her old desk–I think it might have been Wilson.

I loved the scene in the morgue, though. And I did feel bad for 13 (for the first time, and probably the last).

I was delighted to be able to answer House’s question, “What also floats?” correctly before he gave the answer.

Though I did figure out the Internet patient was a put-on by House as soon as she showed up.

I didn’t see that coming at all :smack:. I don’t think it Wilson got her desk. I can totally see House doing that and still going out with the hooker (he’s probally one of her regulars).

Yes, there were a couple of good references in this one. He does a wicked Sean Connery, btw. I saw the morgue thing coming but not right away, later in the game.

I think Remy is showing her chops now.

And Cuddy had moments of hottness tonight that were just off the charts.

Does Ex Tank know?

Nice ending with the desk/gesture.

I think Petty and Wilde should have had at least a few lines of dialogue with each other.

IMDB shows her in (at least) the next episode. My guess is that they develop some sort of relationship.

PS: Again my DVR cut off just as Cutty walked up on House and Tattoo Love Girl. Did she just sigh, give a look of betrayal/disgust, and walk away?

Also, somewhere in catching up with all of this, I missed Taub’s philandering story arc. I only recall his wife had her own account and was saving up money. I think that was from this season. Was it because he was horn-dogging around in the past? Can someone give me the 10 cents review, please?

I think House is inching toward the “unforgiveably dick-like” column. He needs to start being at least a little nicer or anything with Cuddy will be unbelievable for me. I like that he’s not a perfect character, but I really, really don’t want to hate him. He’s pushing it.

Inching? I think he careened in that direction some time ago.

Well, he’s always been kind of an asshole…often times, a big asshole, but I was able to find some redeeming qualities in past seasons. This year, he seems like he needs to go into some serious therapy. He totally blows.

Lead! Lead!

Very small rocks!

Taub was having affairs with nurses at his former plastic-surgery practice. His partners blackmailed him to leave by agreeing that they wouldn’t tell his wife. She was saving up money, which House’s PI detected and Taub called her on; she “confessed” that she was saving up to buy him a sports car. It’s undetermined whether that is true or if she was saving up to leave him, but she did buy him the car. He then confessed his infidelity. He spent some time sleeping on the couch, but they seem to be working it out.

ETA:

More of a look of first uncertainty, and then heartbreak.

Gravy!

They got in the phrase “a cunning plan”, which I think they’ve done before (a Blackadder reference).

I saw Lori Petty in the credits but never saw her in the show. I didn’t realize who she was until I read this thread. I thought the other patient was a young man until Foreman and 13 referred to her as a “her”.

I am still not a fan of House and Cuddy together. I especially hated Cuddy playing House type games on him. It’s not very professional or attractive, it’s rather immature. Frankly, I’d like to see her called on this stuff by the board and realize House is not a good idea for her. I did like House calling her on the way she dresses around him.

I missed most of the previous episode but was her office really that trashed that it needed a total remodel?

Near as I could tell from last week, there was House’s writing on the wall and maybe a broken lamp or two. And she wants a kid? Better get that stain-proof wallpaper!
