House at first likes an obnoxious, offensive patient, then takes a disliking to him.
Getting down to the end of this season.
Can’t wait to see what they do with Piper Perabo. Wonder if she’ll actually be working at the hospital? I hope she does, since it seems obvious that she & House are going to date; I’m dying to see Cuddy jealous.
bump for the man with the cane…and the doped coffee
Can’t say I liked this episode all that much. I’m already tired of the whole “Is Foreman leaving?” storyline. I generally enjoy the character (as a foil to House), but I’d be more upset if Cameron or Chase were leaving.
All throughout the episode, I was trying to figure out why the kid was so unlikeable while House, who has essentially the same personality, was a relatively sympathetic character. Maybe it’s because House has the traumatized background of abuse, while the kid has a caring (if ineffectual) mother. Or maybe it’s because House acts like a human being every once in a while. Not often, but occasionally.
It was fun to see Wilson acknowledge himself as an enabler, and I figured that he wasn’t the one who ruined Foreman’s chances. I’d put my money on Chase, though, just because he was the least likely suspect. I’m surprised Foreman didn’t round all of them up in the Accusing Parlor.
And why the $#^#@ do we have to wait two weeks for more hot House action?
Because of the American Idol finale next week. Oh…I assumed the question was not rhetorical.
I still think House did it.
Damn Fox and changing times around. My Tivo cut off when House made Forman spend the night running tests. What happened after that?
So, wait, when the kid beat the other guy bloody with the clock, was there a reason, or was that just him being an asshole?
Because if the latter, that’s way beyond anything House has ever done.
Haw haw! What a naif!
Oddly enough, my mom thought the kid did it. :dubious:
I think that was part of the increased aggression, or rage, which was one of the symptoms. The kid’s overall crappy demeanor was not.
Didn’t he? (Get Foreman’s interview cancelled, I mean)
He did, viva was just being a smart-alecky porky mouth, and I’ll have none of that under my roof! To think of all those months I carried viva in my womb, and the fifty-seven hours of labor to bring viva into this world…
Nothing happened after that. It went to credits.
My husband actually threatened to send the kid to military school about half way through the episode. Even though he’s not our kid (and, um, fictional), I did not argue.
Yeah, about halfway through the episode, I figured out that the kid needed a good parental asskicking more than any sort of life-saving treatment.
And the fact that I was delivered by some gimping, grouchy, scruffy doctor…
House was the one who cancelled the appointment. Chase was right in his convoluted assertion, which is why House said “I knew I hired you for a reason,”
It was funny as each character did the same… hmmm expression when the person confronting them left. I don’t know if it was on purpose but for some reason it reminded me of silent actors trying to portray a thought really big! “I wonder who could have sabotaged Cameron… could it be…”
Up until the conversation with Chase, I was convinced that there wasn’t actually an interview and Foreman made the whole thing up to get sympathy. Either that or that it was House, I wouldn’t put anything past him.
I mentioned to my wife that it looked like they were using the same long close ups you see in soap operas just before the commerical.
Ok So I missed the ending. What the hell was wrong with that kid, other then needing to be trashed about the head and shoulders?
Hemochromatosis, complicated by the fact that he was an asshole.
