Well, off the top of my head, the first two places I can think of are
Sherlock’s Pub. Live music, no cover, pool, darts, and an upstairs area that’s fairly quiet. Downside is it’s 21 and up the last time I checked. 
Dave and Buster’s. Maybe not the ideal place for a quiet chit chat, but it sounds like so much fun right now!

It’s been a few years - is Sherlock’s the place in a shopping mall on Westheimer near the Adam’s Mark Hotel? If that’s the one you’re thinking of, it would work fine if we don’t need to accomodate under-21.
If Cess and whomever else can make it, we might want to think about some of the open air joints along Richmond and Westheimer.
