Just in case I decide to fly in, would anyone be able to pick me up from the airport (either one) and put me up for the night? I would need to leave before the Sunday get-together.

that’s ok, I can find a hotel if you don’t mind chauffering me everywhere. Which airport is easier for you? Is there a hotel near where you live, or would it be better if I got a room near the ale house?
Zyada, Hobby is easiest for me. I live about a mile from the Ale House, so anywhere around there is fine. IIRC, didn’t you stay in the Galleria are last time? That would work out just fine as well. Let me snoop out the local places in the next few days and I’ll try and come up with some suggestions.

Seriously, I might can help, but I live in the boondocks. Well, Clear Lake - 20 miles south of downtown. But it isn’t that far from Hobby Airport (20 mins or so in light traffic). (Hobby is probably the airport you want, unless someone lives in Spring or Humble.)

After reading about the goings on in NYC last weekend, I am warming up a little more to the idea of getting together and trying to outdo that whole bunch.
