Due to the unstability of the teen-age slacker I use for child care, I will probably be late. Not too terribly late, but late enough to drive a Type-A control freak like me into an early grave.
…and why the heck does it cost $10.00 and hour to let someone watch my Direct TV (with porn, no less!) while my critter sleeps? His sole job is to evacuate the child in case of disaster- AND he eats my food! grumble…
Less than 4 hours now! Sadly, my date has backed out on me—but I’ll be there. Hopefully someone will try to cheer me up!

Sorry to hear that. My mouth did that about 4 days ago. All across my lower left lip. You are soon to enter the burning pain part. I am past that, but the scars are quite noticeable, so I may not smile too much for pictures.

That was a yexy gathering. Great to see y’all, some of long remiss, like Mamapotomous - great to see you, gal! And new acquaintance include Dolores, Prav and unclvny - with whom I of course sank into talking about drilling bullshit - well, it’s what we do.
And CasperQ pretty much herded this one together. It was great to meet you - I do like you.

Well. it’s always nice to renew my friendships with Ayesha, that LionSOB and Irishman. They were the most of the early Houston group. We missed Zap, but stalwart Road Rash mixed it up with us.
DLurker was another good addition.
All in all, a good gathering, folks.
I meant to say, in my befuddled state… :o and ditto - loved meeting all y’all!
And a good time was had by all! I really enjoyed meeting all of you. Good food, too! We sure laughed a lot.

Hey you guys are fun. I feel better knowing I am not the only twisted person out there…
I actually learned several things:
- Bring extra clothes to a DopeFest
- Never turn your back on a waitress who is carrying multiple glasses of beer.
- Always remember to bring a camera!
- And, The voices in my head are closer than they appear…
