I topped off this morning for $3.59, and the same station actually went down 12 cents this afternoon to $3.47. Central New Hampshire.
Up to $6.299/gal
. Now this IS a notoriously pricey station even for my pricey area (it’s a Chevron), but since it is the closest to my house and gets a lot of traffic I figure I’d run with it. It definitely is continuing to creep up week by week.
I just checked the local price on my Costco app. Up to $3.65 from $3.59 on the 23rd.
ETA sorry that’s for regular. Premium is $3.97.
I got gas yesterday and it has not gone up since my last visit. It’s still at $6.099.
$5.09 at the Marathon station near our supermarket, which is the cheapest I’ve seen. It was more crowded than I’ve ever seen it.
$6.29, no carwash, at the Chevron station I walked past yesterday.
Big jump around here (Jersey Shore). $4.19 at Wawa. $4.07 at an independent station nearby. Costco only went up 4 cents to $3.69 but I’m sure that’s trending up. It’s always cheaper but usually not that much.
I got 2 full tanks today for $20. For my lawn mower.
The country will likely now see a big long slow drop with the apparent cease-fire, so I’ll switch from frequently topping off to waiting for the next valley to fill up and use my $1.00 off points from Meijer.
$3.88 at Costco. Most stations seem to be at around $4.10.
I’ve been in a beach town in South Florida for a couple of weeks, and the prices vary wildly. There’s a Mobil at $4.99, with an Exxon one block up Collins at $4.29. And about a 1/2 mile west on Biscayne, there are a bunch, including Mobils and Exxons at $3.99 with $4.99’s scattered about. I had to go to Miami Airport yesterday and saw $5.99’s.
I’ve filled up a couple times down here at the $3.99 spots, so thankful for this thread! I rarely checked fuel prices before this.
I saw one yesterday at $4.29 in Western PA.
Had to go to the pain clinic for a shot this morning.
Stopped in Worthington, PA where I got gas for $4.04!
Your post works better if you switch the sentences. ![]()
(A little less so if one reads your previous post).
3.89 Myrtle Beach ! Thank you Mr Trump may I have another!
I go out of the way to get Wawa ….Not in Sc yet!
Yesterday gas in San Antonio at HEB was $3.99.
When I first moved away from home in 1970 I lived with a roommate in Arlington, Texas. Her dad had given her a car, a '68-ish Chevy sedan with a 20-gal gas tank. Gas was ~$.20 per gallon. To fill it from empty cost $4.00 (that’s right: FOUR DOLLARS AMERICAN). We never filled it, because was too much! (Our grocery budget was $10.00/week). We’d usually put $1.00 of gas in it and drive all week.
Yesterday I filled my Mazda 6 from 1/4 tank: $45.00.
Deep sigh.
I wish I had thought of that!
I gassed up at the same station I’ve mentioned above. $4.56/gal.
($4.559 if you happen to have units of currency 1/10 of a penny.)
So since early March I have seen:
3/3/26 $3.50
3/20/26 $4.30
4/11/26 $4.56
I guess that’s called “winning” or “great again” or something.
Say, we didn’t cause this ourselves, did we?
A new Giant Eagle opened up nearby and they have gas advertised at $3.99/gallon. Don’t know how long that will last.
You’ll notice when the line of traffic stops forming.
Here on Oahu, someone must have started a rumor last Monday about a gas shortage. The line to get on the exit for the nearby Costco was half a mile down the H2 (Hawaii version of an interstate) with the actual station another half mile away. Everyone seems to have filled up now so access is back to normal. We use our electric car mostly
so I haven’t needed any for my gas car in a few weeks. Seems we are about a dollar less than California prices![]()
