On the old board, the User Control Panel displayed a list of subscribed threads with new posts. All you had to do was change your settings to subscribe to every thread you posted in, and you had a list of threads you posted in that have new posts.
The Unread list isn’t cutting it for me any more. I want what I described above; has anybody figured out how to do it with out a complex search that has to be repeated every time I want to view this list?

Answering the question in the subject: click on your own avatar in the upper right corner. Click the little person icon in the row of four icons (a bell, a bookmark, an envelope, and a person.) Then select ‘Activity’ from the menu.
If that’s not what you want, and what you want is to automatically subscribe, I’m not sure if that’s possible. I don’t do that except on a thread-by-thread basis.
ETA: go under ‘Preferences’ after following the above steps. Choose ‘Notifications’ on the left, and you can change the default behavior of how it subscribes you.

Oh, that’s cool, @What_Exit. It gives a different sort-order than the Activity feed I use - I think it’s sorting based on the freshness of the thread, rather than the date of your post. That could be very helpful!

I just discovered a setting which makes Unread more like what I prefer. I was able to turn off tracking for threads I just read, not posted in. Go to your profile, select the drop down menu that currently says Account, and select Notifications. Under “Consider topics new when” select “created since I was here last”. Under “Automatically track topics I enter” select “never”. Under “When I post in a topic, set that topic to” select “tracking”. That should render Unread to topics you posted in that have new posts since you were here last.
That’s what I do. It has the added benefit of letting you subscribe to a thread without posting in it . . . like the old board.
