I wish the age difference didn’t matter with teens 
I have the most fun, beautiful, and caring friend, who’s 19. I’d LOVE to go out with her, seriously, but 5 years is a lot when you’re our ages.

How do you date an older woman? Give her things you think she might want. Flowers, focus, a little bit of fantasy, a lot of friendship. Do YOU want to? My SO is 7 years younger than I am and we started dating after meeting online because he wanted it to happen as much s I did. I like his openess and his strength. He likes my confidence and I am, admittedly, as sexy as all get-out. I don’t need a wallet, he doesn’t need a mommy, but we both need to feel desired and to laugh and be happy.
Lizard, try this. Quit thinking of her as “an older woman”. Change the question in your head to “How do I date this woman?” I was a little freaked out at dating my SO until I stopped thinking of him as “a younger man” and just thought of him as “a man”. Maybe removing the label will help you relax a little and decide whether you like her as a person.
And astro, control is not even an issue with my SO. But then, we both act like six year olds. Neener neener neener.
