How has the disgraced, CONVICTED FELON, former but once again President Trump pissed you off today? (Part 1)

Funny story - I once wrote a sarcastic review of a Trump flag for Amazon. I also posted it here.

I submitted it, they rejected it as inappropriate. I kept resubmitting it with very minor edits and they kept rejecting it, but on the fourth or fifth try, it was reviewed by someone with a sense of humor that decided to let it through. It was up for 4-5 months at least, until well after the election and I managed to get about 150 people to vote it as “helpful” so it was the top review. Eventually it was reported and pulled.

Interesting that for a Trump-branded product, about 150 potential customers apparently had no capacity for detecting your sarcasm—only the 151st (or so) person had the brainpower required, and so reported your review.

(Or perhaps I should say “predictable.”)

To be clear I solicited the upvotes on a couple of Facebook groups dedicated to liberal humor, they didn’t come from Trump supporters.

A few Trump supporters went into conniption fits in the comments, though. One accused me of not actually being a genuine purchaser of the flag. Apparently the actual flag doesn’t even come with a pole - that’s how he figured out my review was fake.

Oh, okay, I did misunderstand your “managed” comment; I see now that makes sense.

You did find an unusual way of communicating with MAGA people–one that carries no risks of COVID infection or hearing damage from screaming, etc. :+1:

It’s all good.

Oh, does that mean he’s no longer homeless?

Individual 1 is demanding that he be awarded the Arizona election.

I sometimes find myself worrying he’s made and stashed thousands of tweets, statements and missives so that even after he fucking dies his stupid family will inflict them on us at random for the next few decades.

Then I remember that with AI, no such effort on his part would even be necessary, which makes me almost 100% certain that it will happen: Don Headroom. Max Trump. Whatever it’s called, it’s gonna suck.

Dear Don,
Fuck you, dumbass.
Eat shit.
Fuck off.

Apparently–short-circuiting any number of planned “Pence: Couch Surfer” sitcoms.

Ok, that right cracked me up.

I’m always happy to be responsible for crack-ups. Wait…

But such a sit-com might have worked, if they could have gotten SNL’s Beck Bennett to play the fly-ridden former VP. Pence has been a walking joke since entering the public consciousness, what with his gushing over Trump’s “broad shoulders” and general sanctimoniousness and attractiveness to flies and indifference to being hanged, so long as he can hope that Donald will smile at him as he drops. (Or so it appears.)

How this guy can possibly still nurse dreams of becoming the GOP nominee is the true mystery. I suppose there are still evangelicals who like him, but most Trump fans despise him, and independent voters have never seemed to see much of value in him.

Has anyone composed an “Ashli Babbitt Lied” yet? It would give them all something to march to next insurrection.

The best I’ve got is that he has no other future at all. He’s a shitty politician who, but for Trump, would have sunk into the utter irrelevance he so richly deserves when he lost the governorship for Indiana.

It’s like watching a hapless old grandpa potter around a Dollar Store. He has no idea where he’s going, but he’s sure he’ll get there all the same. No one else thinks so, though.

I wish that fly had died in Pence’s coiffure. It’s such a perfect metaphor for Pence himself: The dead fly that no one wants who sticks in everyone’s hair.

Sadly, quite true.

I think the Pence 2024 position is based on the fact that we are still early in the Biden administration and there is a lot of water to pass under the bridge. Republicans in 2022 are going all in to try and vindicate Trump’s legacy. If they fail and Democrats retain control of Congress then the landscape of the Republican primary surely will be questioned.

I saw Biden campaign for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia some weeks ago and today Obama showed up. Both were broadcast on the news. Conversely while Trump has endorsed Glenn Youngkin as the Republican candidate, Youngkin was caught on the campaign trail saying he would rather Trump not come out to campaign for him. Virginia was a big Biden victory in 2020 but some recent polling show this governor’s race quite close. So why isn’t Youngkin wanting Trump to come out? Probably because he is banking on a lower turn out election and not allowing voters who despise Trump believe he is a big Trumper.

He doesn’t want Independent voters to realize how far right he really is until after the election. Which is practically the same thing.

Obama alluded to that by saying Youngkin trying to portray himself out as the moderate in the race is phony. Not that he’s secretly on the far right but about how he went along with Trump’s election lies leading to January 6th and continued with it to win a Republican primary - but now he wants you to believe he is different. Plus his ads that target McAullife are mainly on critical race theory. The narrowing polls suggest they are effective but McAullife should be able to rebut that by pointing out he has been governor before and no one was complaining about critical race theory. If Youngkin pulls this off with this strategy it will be remarkable. McAullife is a Bill Clinton Democrat. His entire career so far has been based on being the moderate.
