Matter of taste, I guess, but it certainly got some coverage. Even Pippa now says the dress fit a bit too well and that fame has an upside, a downside, and a backside.
I’m going to be disappointed if we don’t get to meet Barney’s sister. Even though she clearly doesn’t fit in where we thought she might, I’m curious about her.
We met her a season or two ago. She dated Ted.

That Wiki said that Katie appeared in the episode Vesuvius, three weeks ago.
Great line from The Mother on how she and Robin got to second base with each other during the collision. Holy smokes she is cute as a button. We need to get her in other shows.
I think the point is that Katie was not on the podium with the bridal party. Barney has three groomsmen; Robin as two bridesmaids.
I agree that doesn’t make sense; if they could hire her for Vesuvius, they could have hired her to appear in the wedding scene. (They did make a point during the wedding scene of showing many of their relatives sitting in the audience.)
From what I heard, they “greenscreened” some of the cameos during the wedding scene.
Am I the only one who found the ceremony rushed? I was also furious at Ted, until he allowed Barney to claim that he found the locket. That “ship” has sailed people!
BTW, that Wiki also says that when Robin walked down the aisle, the piano music was Sandcastles in the Sand.
ETA: I had this window opened so long my question got answered (I wanted to know what song was playing when Robin walked down the aisle).
My other half said “Could they look more computer generated?” When the camera pans across the assembled guests, you can’t see any of the cameos sitting among them. The actress who played Katie may have been available to film an episode, but there may have been scheduling or budget conflicts preventing her from being featured more.
Which is a good thing. Robin’s original dad wasn’t scary enough. Frankly, he coulda played The Captain. Ray Wise is much, much better for the role.
And it looked to me like a lot of those people were CGI’d (is that a word?) into those shots. A lot of blurry borders.
