How many criminal or civil investigations that could ensnare Trump are currently ongoing

Not investigations into his administration, or suits against the federal government I mean investigations that could personally cost Trump his freedom or money.

Also how many investigations into Trump could uncover evidence of crimes that gets picked up by other investigators? Meaning, the Avenatti suit or the Kaepernick suit could uncover evidence of other crimes, leading to new investigations. The Mueller investigation helped cause the SDNY investigation for example and I think Mueller’s team handed off the Cohen investigation to the SDNY attorney’s office. The Avenatti investigation could uncover other crimes which leads to new investigations.

  1. Mueller investigation

  2. SDNY investigation into Cohen

  3. Michael Avenatti and various women who signed NDAs with Trump.

  4. NY AG investigation (may have been overlapped with Mueller, not sure if this is still an independent investigation)

  5. Colin Kaepernick? His legal team wants to subpoena Trump, which could lead to investigations for other crimes and financial penalties for Trump.

There were 75 pending lawsuits against Trump or his businesses in late 2016: How 75 pending lawsuits could distract a Donald Trump presidency

He settled the Trump U. lawsuit shortly after being elected, but others have been filed since then.

Tom Arnold keeps threatening us with some revelation that could lead to charges

Ship him some Ambien and get him on Twitter. Let’s speed this up. Midterms are a-comin’.

I wouldn’t be surprised is something from Mueller’s investigation exposes some kind of international money laundering.

What is the status of the House and Senate investigations? I remember one House investigation that concluded there were no problems but at one time there were others going on.

The House and Senate investigations are mainly charades. As long as Republicans are in charge in Congress, there will be no substantive investigations that might actually find misconduct. That MIGHT change in January, if we vote enough Democrats in to shift power, but right now I wouldn’t trust any Congressional investigations to figure out how to tie their own shoes.

They’re all charades, especially the house intelligence committee investigation. I think one of the senate investigations may be real, but for the most part their goal is to cover things up to make the GOP look good. The House intel committee refused to follow up on leads and tried to cover up a legit investigation.

If the democrats win in 2018, then we may get legitimate investigations.

As far as Tom Arnold, does it matter if Trump uses racial and ethnic slurs? That will just make his base like him even more. Besides, that isn’t a crime.

FBI probe led to mueller probe which led to SDNY probe.

Things like that are what I’m interested in. Each investigation seems to open up new investigations. I’m hoping the Avenatti probe will lead to more criminal and civil charges that are picked up by other people. A deposition, subpoena or investigation of Trump is going to uncover more and more crimes, which will open more and more investigations.

The more investigations we have, the less chance Trump has of shutting any one of them down and stopping it. He can fire Mueller, but he can’t fire the NY AG. I don’t think he can fire the SD NY attorney. He can’t fire a judge.
