I’ll leave it up to respondents to determine the exact meaning of ‘lived in’, but l’ll assume that we are excluding short hotel stays and the like. In other words, places you would respond to the question “Where to you live?”
For locations outside the U.S. please use the first-level of geography below the country. Provinces in Canada, Lander in Germany, etc…
For me it’s
Iowa
Delaware
Arizona
North Carolina
Illinois
Central Region Ghana
Upper West Region Ghana
Accra Region Ghana
Virginia
Maryland
So ten in total, seven U.S. and three outside the U.S.
I was born in San Jose, CA, but my family moved to Illinois when I was three months old. As a result, other than those first three months of my life, I have always lived within 75 miles of the western shore of Lake Michigan.
Lived most of my life in New Jersey.
Went to college in Maryland.
Was stationed in the Army in Texas.
With the Army spent shorter times in several states for training. Wasn’t permanent, didn’t have all my stuff, so a different definition of “lived in.” Those states were Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia and New Mexico. A few even shorter training stints in Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Dakota.
Alaska
California
Oregon
Washington
Minnesota
Massachusetts
Virginia
Not sure I fully understand the OP, but out of country:

Spain - deployment
Egypt
Germany
Guam - deployment
Belgium
Portugal
Mali
Uganda
