I’m a little annoyed with this new development in the Faye/Bubbles storyline. Not every relationship has to become romantic, IMHO.
I agree in that I liked Faye/Bubbles as it was, solid BFFs, but I’m sure Jeph is just dying to explore human-robot relationships and that’s the most obvious pairing.
Well, it’s not like he hasn’t been laying the groundwork for a Faye/Bubbles romance for a very long time. Though if he has to explore human/robot sex, I still wish he had gone with May

Elliot? Nah - he’s setting up a triad with him, Clinton and Brun. The next new character he’ll introduce is a transgender robot. Why are there things such as transgendered robots, when they could just as easily swap out for a new differently gendered body? Because Jeph is “edgy”.
Faye is a sexually active adult who’s probably had several partners over the years, and is only now entering into her first same sex relationship.
As such, she certainly has acquired an (ahem) aesthetic appreciation for chicks in short-shorts in record time. Or has she been ogling jouncy girlflesh on the sly for a while now?
A couple months ago, my comics reader was glitchy and stopped updating QC. Then it started again but I didn’t really bother with it. I’m thinking I’ll just start from the present and not bother to read a hundred backlogged strips.
Last I read was Faye and Bubble kissing and Hanners was hanging out with a yak. Did I miss anything of special importance since then?

So the group think is that Brun is boring. But I like the Brun comics. Just like TV, things I like are overall unpopular. Time for Brun to be cancelled and a write in campaign for another strip to pick her up.
