Yeah, I think it has. When she was a teenager, girls kept making friends with her as an excuse to get to her brother. Once Sven was done with them, they were done with Dora. End result is, she’s always questioning the motives of people who are close to her, because she has a history of people pretending to like her for ulterior reasons.
She’s emotionally needy and vulnerable, has a spotlight on her big breasts, throws blood out of her nose when overly excited or anxious, gets drunk easily, and per her interaction with Angus will practically go down on you for smiling at her.
I don’t see this ending well.
Same here.
I’m beginning to lose track of who’s who - let alone who’s lusting after whom.
And now they’re trying to set her up with an Alliance NElf rogue - yuck! At least this shows she’s not completely desperate.

I suspect that’s why Emo Poet has the silly mustache now, since he and Angus (and Sven, for that matter) tend to look alike.
She’s already been felt up by Pintsize.
But then, who hasn’t, really?
I’m rather shocked that her main is MariGoldfarm…
That’s not a main name for a serious player…that’s an alt name at best.
(On the other hand, they are SO going to hook up. Nerdragelove, FTW.)
Alts can become mains. Plus it says something about her character, that she likes lame puns and geek jokes. If my name was Marigold, I might have come up with the same.
Also, it’s not certain that Jeph is a WoW player. He might know enough to make Marigold convincing, but there could still be slipups like that.
He’s already said he doesn’t play.
I want Raven back
No, it says that she’s a gold farmer, not a serious player - which is the exact opposite of what it should be saying about her.
No, it doesn’t. It’s just a convenient name that plays on her real-life name.
Yes - gold farmer characters might be more apt to use a name like that. Yes, non-gold farmers would be less apt. But there’s no reason to be absolute about it. We’ve seen her play - we know she’s not a gold farmer.
Which is my point, exactly - she’s a serious, raid-focussed player.
Therefor, her main would not be named like a gold-farming alt.
This thread renews my already-firm belief that I’m super glad not to be a WoW player.
You’re reading way too much into her name. It’s a joke. Lot’s of players, even hard core players, have joke names. Even on their main characters.
Actually, I can tell you from experience they’re not. Farmers are wise enough not to advertise their intention that way. Spammers generate randomized names like Jctzycq and goldsellers use unassuming names; I had one contact me in game and his name was more conventional than Marigold’s. It’s just a geek pun in her case.
WoW iz srs bsns.
Bingo. It’s just a joke people - written by a confessed non-WoW player. Reading too much into it is the same as trying to explain a joke - it just manages to ruin the fun.
Wow, those is serious bosoms?
Applicable in this case I suppose.
