I fear for my Dallas Cowboys (T.O.?)

Step 1: Dallas Cowboys release Keyshawn Johnson today
Step 2: Philadelphia Eagles release Terrell Owens today
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit

I am very afraid of what Step 3 may be, and I don’t mean Keyshawn playing in Philly.

:frowning:

Well, at least he could stand on the star in the middle of the field and not get knocked on his ass.

Although, he should be.

Hell, he should get knocked on his ass just for principle.

I hope he gets knocked on his ass.

He’s an ass.

I hope somebody knocks him.

I think it would be really good if Dallas signed TO.

Of course I am a Giants fan.

Jim

No backs!

Ahhh, ya beat me to it, Jim!

That’s okay, it bears saying it twice.

Good point. Ok then…

Memo to Jerry Jones:

You’ll notice that the Eagles choked in the NFC Championship Game three years in a row before they picked up T.O. He was the sole reason they made it to the Super Bowl before they choked there. You’d be a fool not to pick up a player of his caliber! He’s just what the Cowboys need! Plus, think of the division…T.O. needs to stay in the NFC East. Please, Mr. Jones…don’t let this opportunity pass you by!

'Cuz the Giants have the corners to cover him now that they signed that one guy.

Even if the Steelers are unable to defend their championship it would make my season knowing that Dallas willingly inflicted themselves with cancer. Oh, the taunts that my wife would have to endure at my hands…

I can’t wait. I hope that arrogant ass owner signs that arrogant ass player. They deserve each other. And when it happens, when they go down in flames, I will be absolutely ecstatic. And that ecstasy will last for many years to come, for as long as Dallas is sucking hind tit I am happy. Not nearly as happy as I was in February, but it’s noteworthy.

I love T.O.

Sure he has a MASSIVE attitude problem but he doesn’t get into trouble off the field and there is no denying his talent (well…okay…you can deny it if you want but you would be stupid and wrong). If Dallas were to sign him, Bill Parcels would have a loooonnnng talk with him. I don’t think you have anything to worry about. There might be some rough patches but, overall, from here on in, he’ll be fine I’d wager (provided he fires his friggin agent - I hate that guy)

A Steelers fan who married a Cowboys fan? Wow. I’m a Bills fan who dated a Cowboys fan for a year and a half, but still- wow. Nice work.

If you’ve ever wondered about the depth of love Cowboy’s fans have for their team, consider this; we do it willingly despite the fact the fookin’ devil is the current owner.

Someday Jerry Jones is going to die. We can only anticipate and hope that we’ll still be here long enough to see it. Remember, he’s had a facelift. He’s actually older and more decrepit that he looks.

How I miss the days of Tom Landry, Tex Schramm, Clint Murchinson, Ernie (Steeler great) Stautner, Roger Staubach, Walt Garrison, Randy White, Leroy Jordan, Troy Aikman, etc, etc.

Signing T.O. though might be the one thing that would test my love. He and San Fran deserved each other. He and Philly deserved each other. He and Denver now deserve each other. Jerry Jones can gladly have him… but first he must move his sorry carpetbaggin’ ass back to Arkansas.

We’ve been married for almost four years. Until this past February, I had Super Bowl XXX to hold over his head. Now he’s got… T.O.

That’s okay. We have a couch.

Robin

Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I don’t think T.O. was the problem in Philly and I’m sure we’ll see that when they suck ass again this season.

I’ll become a fan of the team that signs T.O. and I hope it’s Dallas because there’s always been this Philly-Dallas rivalry thing which will make it all the more sweet.

In fact, I might even buy a T.O. Dallas jersey if that happens.

Supposedly, Jerry Jones will call the coach on his personal hotline and tell him which play to call, even if it crashes and burns, just to show off.

Well, there’s info on SI.com about why T.O. to Dallas makes sense and that Denver and KC are not pursuing T.O. very hard. I does make sense, and I can see it happening. I have a sinking felling that Dallas will pick him up.

If this is true, he had better make amends to the fans over the Star Incident, pehaps taking his first home-field TD catch to the Star and gesturing something to the effect, “I with you now.”

I mean, “I playing with you now.”

Replace Bill Parcells with Andy Reid and you have exactly what Philly fans were saying two years ago. Hell, I said it to. “As long as Andy Reid keeps him under control, all will be good up there.”

He couldn’t control him. Parcells won’t be able to, either. I hope for Dallas’ sake that they only sign him to a one-year, incentive laden contract. Anything longer than that and they’re asking for trouble.

Actually, since I’m a Redskins fan, I hope they do sign him. I’d love to see him take down another NFC East team for us.

A poll on dallascowboys.com asks what Dallas should do:

a) Sign Terrell Owens (63%)
b) Resign Keyshawn (17%)
c) Promote Crayton (5%)
d) Draft or sign another player (14%)

I wonder if Jerry Jones made this up or if fans of other teams are raiding the website.
