I GOT A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH YOU PEOPLE-A Festivus Eve MMP

I have skettie sauce simmerin’ away. Smells soooooooooooo good! Sketties 'n meatballs for tomorrow’s dindin, plus some sauce to put in da freezer for later. I also took poke tenderloins outta da freezer and put 'em in da fridge to thaw out so’s I can marinade 'em. They shall be for the big New Year’s Day feast. We shall have at least twelve and maybe even a couple more folks to feast at noon. The good thing about poke tenderloin is I can delegate OYKW to be grillmaster whilst I take care of other stuff in the kitchen. Plus, poke tenderloin be tasty!

We shall go meet up for a Quickie at five this afternoon.

Spidey they couldn’t find the game, but they could find the adult stuff? Makes one go :dubious:.

We’re having pasta bake for supper. I just cooked some elbow mac and mixed it with my last sack o’sketty sauce. Dumped it in a baking dish and topped it with mozzarella and it’s now in the oven. Yum! But that means I need to make more sketty sauce for the freezer. Guess I know what I’ll be doing tomorrow, after I run to the store for 'shrooms.

I ordered my smoker today and it should be here by the end of the week. Yay! So, what should I smoke first?? Decisions, decisions…

Game on!

Chicken dinner after the game.

When the Packers actually won the Super Bowl I sent that around all the ecunet pigskinners. It got many snorks.

And can then turn into tasty rainbow trout used properly.

What kind what kind what kind? Huh huh huh huh? I’m running a Brinkman Trailmaster limited edition. Basically like this

Mom: skin-on salmon.

SpazCat: I’d blow it all on the Minis they have at breakfast. They are delicious.

And hey, it sunnied up (yes, this is a verb) and got warmer for a pleasant checks pedometer app 5,128 steps (just under 2 miles, apparently) worth of errand running. Errand walking? Got bone-in skin-on chicken boobies, which I haven’t roasted up in a while, and a friend is stopping by after she gets off work tonight to say “hello,” and I got a refund check for a whopping two dollars and fifty nine cents y’all I’m rich now!

Oh, and one of my errands was redeeming the stickers that Albertsons does this time every year as their grocery promo and I got a brand new 2quart pan w/lid and a little 7inch nonstick skillet, both Cuisinart brand. I’ve gone in for this in years past (you get a sticker for each ten bucks’ worth of groceries you buy, which works nicely for me since Albertsons is my primary supermarket so I’m buying food and other daily necessities there anyway) and the pots and pans I’ve gotten before were pretty good, and the nonstick finish is quite nice, and hey, the price was right! Two brand new nice things for my kitchen!

“It’s gonna be a good day, Tater.”

Symphysodon are fond pf blackworms, which are essentially a smaller version of earthworms, and ours have grown quite a bit when fed on blackworms.

I’m getting this one. It’s like the one my brother has, and he lurves it.

Supper was good. **FCD **is happy since Dallas won. I think it’s time to recline and crochet the night away. Have we got a volunteer for tomorrow, or will it be pot luck?

MWAH!!

Oldest BIL got one of those for Christmas too. I don’t know if it’s that model, but he was getting ready for brisket after the holidays.

Swampy, it wasn’t that bad. With Verizon, the HD channels are the same # as the regular channels, just add 800 (so 009 becomes 809, etc.). With Comcast, apparently, the lower 800’s are the adult channels. You have to add a different ‘hundred’ to get to the HD versions of the regular channels.

For Thanksgiving I did turkey london broils (boneless breasts, which take much less time), (turkey) snausages, salmon, provolone (<– mmmmm, nomnomnom), & a couple heads of garlic.
Also, I could start us with a timely topic if no one else does…or not.

At least on my Comcast setup, it’s the 700 series for HD.

I’m not usually up early enough to start the MMP. Though with my sleep being somewhat irregular lately, who knows.

We’ve had pizza for dinner. RT is watching some gross show on Hulu and I’m trying to ignore it.

We have a motion on the floor.

All in favor of Spidey bein’ our host with the most tomorrow say “Aye.”

AYE!!!

All those opposed [del]sit down and shaddup[/del] say “Nay.”

::crickets::

The “Ayes” have it! Spidey shall start us off with [del]a make your own omelette bar[/del] ummm… sump’n.

MOOOOOOM cool smoker! Do some chikin boobs (big ones), ribs, poke roast, and brisket. Seriously, when I use mine, I fill it up. Smoked stuff can be frozen.

Spidey Mediacom HD channels start with 800 as well.

Packers! Woooooo!

Winner, winner, chicken dinner!*

*Five spice BBQ chicken, green tea ginger rice, and steamed sake broccoli

Mooom, pork shoulder should be among the first things you do in your smoker. I also recently discovered that Aldi carries uncured bacon that a friend of mine does a nice job with in his.

It’s time to clean up from supper. I did sesame pork and snow peas over basmati rice. It was just right.

Electric smokers are ----- OK. I guess. For wimmin and cityslickers and all. :stuck_out_tongue:

(Actually they are darn nice and produce a pretty good product. Its just that us ridgerunners can’t really enjoy cooking without open fire and hours of fiddling around with it all.)

But at the cost of an even more gimpy QB. But at least the Packers have a QB unlike the Vikings. But next year by Lord -----------!!!

Is this post concerned with Upton Sinclair?

He throws TDs on a bum leg. And he has a running game. “Relax” - Aaron Rodgers

Drank a straight club soda today.

Club Soda is also the name of a concert venue in Montreal.

Try it with a squeeze of lemon, lime or tangerine. That’s one of my go to drinks here at home.
