I don’t know, I found the second one to be amusing simply because it was one of those old and cliche childish jokes that were completely unfunny except to the most ignorant of society at the time. I can only assume the first post was a joke in a similar vein. Given the context, though, I had to laugh since it seemed the OP was treating his SO as something other than a girl: a strange, foreign, and obtuse object that was different than those “thin” girls. This was not the case, given subsequent posts, but seeing the OP as stated would give the proper context of those jokes being funny. Not in what they proclaimed but rather what they stood for - childish, unfunny jokes. A mock, really, and more crticizing in a biting satirical form than that of posts demeaning them.
I am not Trunk, however - perhaps I am mistaken on his intent.
