I was just thinking this. I feel a lot less guilty about posting one-offs and stupid jokes in the Pit and ATMB when the server load is minimal. It’s also less weighty on my conscience since I only have to sit there looking at the “you will soon be taken to your post” going ‘oh man, why didn’t I just delete that one’ for like 10 seconds as opposed to 5 minutes when the boards are slow.
For me, it’s a mixed blessing.
On one hand, it’s great to have the board be so…zippy.
On the other hand, the only reason why I’m ever here at this hour is because of this bloody insomnia. 
I work 3rd shift, so this is what I’m more used to when I’m surfing from work.
