I need Haagen Daz Peanut butter Chocolate ice cream Anonymous meetings

I think I can resist almost anything except that.

It’s starting to freak me out.

Try Swensen’s peanut-butter ice cream malts or shakes. They g-o-o-o-o-o-d.

This is my favorite ice cream of all time, too. Thankfully, the only local store that sells it around here is Target, which I rarely go to unless I’m on my lunch hour, so I don’t buy it that often.

Is it anything like Baskin Robbin’s version? Deep, dark, chocolate ice cream with flaky layers and chunks of peanut butter? Because that’s what I usually measure peanut butter chocolate ice cream against… most, I’ve found, are lacking.

It’s good stuff, but I haven’t seen it anywhere I shop in a long time. It’s good enough to make a special trip to the big Target. Thanks for the lead.

I’d say it compares favorably with B&R Chocolate Peanutbutter. The icecream is certainly richer, and a little bit more intensely chocolate flavored. I’d say “neck and neck” re: the peanut butter.

I already belong to Dreyer’s French Silk anonymous. It’s not working.

There are two flavor combos that I can’t resist: chocolate/peanut butter and pineapple/coconut. I could live on peanut butter cups and pina coladas.

(I even found some pineapple/coconut Tic-Tacs in Nice, France.)

Johnny Rockets’ has a great chocolate peanut butter shake/malt.

I t was Baskin Robbin’s that got me hooked. Now it’s Hagen Daz simply because it is easier to get where I live.

I try to stick with the 1 serving containers but they seem to vary which deli gets the chocolate peanut butter supply in that size.

Oh, my god, yes–yes–yes! There has never been an ice cream to compare with it. The chocolate is just dark enough, and the icy pb swirl is divine. I’ve spent an evening or two just horking those clumps of peanut butter with their robes of cold, dark chocolate into my face hole.

If I ruled the world and fat/calories were nothing but slaves to my gigantic, elastic-waist pants, I would eat Haagen Daz chocolate/peanut butter at every meal. Sadly, I forego the most perfect food in the world in favor of fitting into my skinny clothes.

Maybe the Wizard of Oz can help me . . .

Inspired by this thread, we stopped by the Haagen-Dazs shop in the shopping center near our home yesterday specifically to look for peanut butter chocolate but were met with blank stares. That flavor’s not available in this country, neither packaged nor for in-store consumption. :frowning:

Will have to stick with Swensen’s.

My feelings exactly…except that I seem to be giving in to the urge to have it at every meal.

Horribly, I do not seem capable of becoming tired of it. Oh, I can tire of it at a particular sitting…but within hours, literally, I’m just as enraptured.

And it’s really so silly, somehow. I am perfectly capable of resisting chocolate ice cream, for years at a stretch. Same for peanut butter. But the way they marry in this devilish confection is dark magic designed to destroy me…

Have you had Haagen Daaz pineapple coconut then? I didn’t think I’d like pineapple with dairy but my mom convinced me to try it. Tasty.
