I disagree that umkay was/is a troll. Trolls want to trick or infuriate people for the fun of it, whereas umkay seems to just want attention and drama while she dreams of being a wheel girl.

I didn’t read the devoté thread and only skimmed the ‘Ask the…’ one, but I had some doubts. A tiny bit because of umkay’s own posts, but mainly because of the reactions to them. Real people just don’t elicit that kind of fawning. Only characters specifically and very carefully designed to elicit fawning (and psychopaths playing real-life characters specifically designed for the same purpose) get that much of it, that fast, and that far over the top.
Ironically, I have to point out that, after just about all her posts in this thread, I love Nzinga, Seated.

I didn’t read any of the original threads that started this…but all this aftermath reminds me of that girl from a few years ago who claimed to talk to a ghost, and acted very cute the whole time. The ghost girl had these insanely stubborn defenders who would post about “having an open mind” and crap like that, exactly like the stuff in this thread.
Most of the ghost girl’s defenders were apparently hopeless romantics, or guys who thought if they behaved gallantly enough in her defense there was a long shot chance they would get laid.
