I don’t know the specifics, Otto, but I’m going from a show she had a year back with Laura Dern, who played the romantic interest on her sitcom. Laura said she had a residual fallout with jobs from that episode, and Ellen related that she was mighty tainted as well for a good while by the powers that be. Perhaps Untouchable was overstating, but, it did have an effect that seems laughable by today’s standards.
