This is a self-indulgent thread, of which I don’t think I do too many. Y’all may differ, of course.
Today we finally got our deal sold. Just Jerry and me, with no help from Mama Corp.
In fact, less than help, as Mama insisted we change up the deal midstream. It’s a $3.3MM drilling deal, and we started with our first presentation May 25th. We had 68.5% placed this morning, and with an indeterminate 5% promise outstanding, our CEO was finally convinced to pull the trigger.
I’m pursuing a cessation of sales activity until the geoscientist can be hanged by the neck until dead for a dry hole profile is invoked.
It’s really a killer prospect. I wish I could talk about it more.
