Ice cream cocktails?

This is what I came into say. A nice, smooth stout, such as Brooklyn Chocolate Stout, or Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, with a scoop of vanilla. Shot of flavored vodka optional.

This is the closest recipe I could find to what my parents made- neither can remember specifically, but both agree that this is close:
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 ounce Kahlua
1 ounce creme de cacao
1 ounce vodka
blend up in blender. Serve in wine glass.

As I remember, it was kind of the thickness of a Wendy’s Frosty, and was served with a spoon.
