Katharine sang well enough, but the song is not one I like that much to begin with, and her performance made it song like a generic Disney song.
Oh my god, I’m in bizarro-world. This was the first time all season that I thought Kat did not-sucha-great job, and the judges drool over her. Also it can’t help her that they shot half the song at her back. What is going on? Is it April Fools day?
Jeff, perhaps that’s the reason it was originally used in a Highlander movie… it sounds like a moviesoundtrack?
What a great way of putting this! Katharine is beautiful and sang the song beautifully, but it still came across as generically boring.
I hope Gomer does good.

Bucky is doing a good job so far … is he going for the high note? No. Wuss. But he was really great tonight. He’s loosened up a bit. Good for him.
Elliot was ok, but I think he would really suffer in a comparison to Freddie on that song.
The band is drowning him out and the backup singers are louder than he is and he looks too happy.
O.K., this is my favorite Queen song and I don’t think anyone could have lived up to it.

How can you not love the Highlander nod?
I liked it, I’d have of course liked it better had they not murderlized the arrangement, and she maybe coulda toned down the power-ballad vibe a wee bit, but she’s got a beautiful voice and it was courageous somehow. She’s not a breathtaking beauty but one of those types who’s pretty sneaks up on me, there’s a moment every week where the camera angle or expression is just right and I’m amazed at how gorgeous she is.
Is it possible that Elliot has never heard Somebody To Love before?! How is that possible!
Not as good as I’d hoped, some of the choices were kinda wonky, but still a feel-good song. His voice is like buttah, I could see buying something of his.
Watching Taylor have fun is just fun, I don’t know whether to ‘yay’ or ‘aww’ but it’s all good. 
Well he sounds a lot better than that other guy did on this song. I like how he whiffed on trying to kick the mike stand.
